Eren unleashes the rumbling with one desire in mind: destroy all enemies beyond Paradis. Standing against him is a band of misfits made of former enemies and allies. But no matter what they do to halt the destruction, Eren’s final act is preordained. Review: Better finish after a shaky season 4 - I started watching AOT in June of 2019 and have watched each season as they were released on Blu-ray and prices came down, so I am finally finishing it in November of 2025. First off after the end of season 4 I was concerned about the ending but it did manage to be a decent ending that was able to make some of what made me not like season 4 make more sense. It was a really good journey and despite taking a dip at the end is one of the best anime overall out there. Season 1 to me was good but wasn’t anything that special to me, but season 2 was great followed by a season 3 that was also great and had a lot of crazy twists after which I went back and rewatched season 1 and 2, and had a much higher appreciation for them seeing how things that didn’t seem important were actually thoughtfully done and subtle moments were actually purposefully done. Then I watched season 4 and was disappointed by a number of things that I talked about in my reviews of those, but I ended that season wondering if they could really resolve the series in a satisfactory way that didn’t ruin what was such an incredible series for the most part. I still think season 4 should have been handled better but I was pleasantly surprised that I was satisfied with the ending. I’m reminded a little of the show Lost, it started good, got amazing, started getting complex but still good, then got ridiculous and stupid with more questions that either get answered in a stupid way or don’t get answered, but I never finished Lost unlike AOT so I don’t know how it ended. Review: Peak - Greatest show of all time. Yes you should buy it.

Short but tidy
I enjoyed it overall. Everything was well done, the music the animation. All top notch, and it gave a conclusion to series. My biggest surprise was how short it was. Two discs with maybe five episodes between them, I didn't count I just watched the show in one go. That makes it seem kind of pricey. SPOILER ALERT: It was one of those endings where at the end of all the drama and action the protagonist just sorts of wipes the slate clean like with Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0. I understood the ending others I watched it with didn't like it and wanted more. Watch through the end for a bit more of an ending.

All around quality
Ordered with Seasons 1, 2, 3, Final Part 1, Final Part 2, and "The" Final Chapter. Absolute banger of a show and "absolute cinema". Mixed bag of emotions on every episode. Order delivery came in very timely, even a little earlier than expected. Excellent quality on Blu-ray 4K UHD players. It'll start the showing as English dubbed first so be sure to swap it to Japanese with English subtitles if you want to watch it "traditionally".
