Very nice camera for my Camaro, it covers all four sides...I like it!
I purchased this to install in my Camaro ZL1. I wish that there was a camera made just for the Camaro like the one I found for my Silverado truck. With that said, I installed this in my Camaro and I really like it. There is very little room or areas that you can mount a camera in a Camaro. I mounted the main unit behind and just to the right of the inside rearview mirror. Also, not really many places to mount the rear camera on a convertible Camaro. I mounted my to the panel just behind the rear seat with 3M double sided tape, which works great. I ran the small camera cable under the seat and trim so it was out of sight.Setup wasn't difficult. You install the app on your cellular phone and use the phone to do everything. On the front main camera unit it has two other side camaras, one on either side of the unit. I angled both of the side camera's towards the doors, left and right, to capture what happens at the doors or side of vehicle. I really like these adjustable side cameras. You can make the display to show, one, two, or all four cameras on it. I do the four camera view.I like the quality of the video, the GPS, night vision, and somewhat happy with the design. I wish the main unit was a little smaller, but I'm happy with it.Would I purchased this again...yep!

A very good dash cam
After I was rear-ended in a chain reaction accident in April, I decided I wanted to get a dash cam in case I was ever hit again. I knew I wanted a 4-channel dash cam to view from all angles but not too expensive and with good reviews. I was originally looking at Driveye’s older model and it had a good price, features that I liked, and good reviews with very little complaints. However later when I had the money to order it, it was no longer in stock. I had to search for another dash cam and the first one to show up in the search was Driveye’s new model D7-4CH. It has new features, appears to take up less space than the older model and currently has a good price. This is a very nice 4-channel dash cam, Driveye packaged it very well and includes everything you need to install it. It has a well written manual that covers everything on installing and using the dash cam. The installation was not difficult at all, although it takes some time if you want to tuck the cables behind the plastic covers in your car.The only small gripe I have, is the back camera comes with two mounts. One for interior mounting and one for exterior mounting. Trying to screw either mount onto the rear camera is a little tricky because the screws are so small, and the little screwdriver included does not have a magnetic tip to hold the screw while you try to get it started. So, it takes a bit to hold the mount to the camera, get the tiny screw in the hole and put the screwdriver on the screw without it falling out in the process until you get it screwed in.It has been hot and muggy (90 with a heat index of 98) lately where I live and this camera even with the sun beating down on it and the interior of the car hot, has worked flawlessly with no shutdowns or crashes. It uses a button or coin battery that recharges and can withstand heat much better than a lithium battery which has the potential to catch fire. I also like that when it is in the 4-channel operation the front camera is 3.5k instead of 2k or even 1080P. I don’t have the 24 Hr. parking monitoring set up yet so I can’t comment on that yet.The app appears to be a little bland and simplistic, so not all the dash cam options are in the app, for some you must go into the camera itself. There has been some people that had issues with the app, but I think the app was updated because so far, I have had no glitches or issues with the app.To register for the 18-month warranty, just e-mail your Amazon order number, your name and the date of purchase to their e-mail address. You can also let them know if you want to be put on their notification for when they release firmware updates for the camera. Their customer service was very quick to respond when I registered for the 18-month warranty and when I had a question. In both cases, they responded to me within a few hours. They are also very easy to communicate with and are very nice.As with all products, the big test will be to see how long this dash cam will last. However, as of right now I am happy with the D7-4CH, and I recommend it if you are looking to buy a 4-channel dash cam.

Scam - look at photos for proof. NOT as advertised, plus device heats up
100% false advertising it says 4k front AND rear, and it says (4k plus 1080 x3 for sides and back) which it is not. When I turn the camera on, thankfully there is a notification that says 3k + 1080p x3NO BUILT IN PARKING MODE (Even though it says it!!!) You have to get it separately. It's another device that does not come with this order/box.Update - the seller sent a screenshot for 4k option, and I double checked...just as my photos show. 4k + 1080p x3 is NOT an option on my device. And one thing I did not mention during the 1st review was that i was in my car for 30-60min playing with it, in a shaded garage, and the device got extremely hot. I can't imagine if it was on during a drive in sunlight, how hot it would get.
