This is a must have. As a first time mom, I love not having to worry if there's a highchair where we're going and if it's clean. The only downside is it is difficult to clean the fabric of the chair, I wish I could remove it to throw in the washing machine.

Very nice to have if you want babe sitting next to you at a restaurant or at home 👍🏽 highly recommend.

This item is an absolute must for new parents. It is the gift we always give at baby showers, and a couple years later, we always hear how it is one of the most used and appreciated items received. We used a very similar model when our daughter was small, and it was a game changer. We put it in the trunk and used it in restaurants (the high chairs most restaurants will loan you are disgusting!), when visiting family or friends, etc. The great part about this unit is that is has it’s own food tray, so the baby/child isn’t eating off of some potentially gross restaurant table, which invariably happens when they drop food, or are too young to use a plate without grabbing it. Of all the baby/toddler gadgets and equipment out there, this is the one that is not just a bunch of expensive flash and hype. It is absolutely functional and a necessity. Throw in some baby-friendly antibacterial wipes for cleaning the tray, and you are good to go.

Looking for that one special shower gift for a close friend/family member that is something other than clothes or a stuffed animal, …Look no further. This is my all time favorite gift to give to expectant parents.No one likes trying to lug around a full size high chair to friends/families’homes, so impractical,and the wooden boosters in restaurants can be icky with other kids germs, food etc. This little chair can attach to any surface … think picnic table, counter top, regular table..It’s completely portable and goes anywhere. We used ours nonstop with our son since we liked to be out and about. The tray is separate but worth it and keeps the mess of toddler eating contained, as much as anything can keep the disaster that is allowing a toddler to feed himself, contained. It’s a great gift for travel to the in-laws, road trips etc and comes in a bunch of great colors .. Did I mention that it cleans up well. It’s a little on the pricey side but I get nothing but rave reviews from friends and family who receive them.It’s usually something new parents don’t think of registering for but is a wonderful addition to the must have accessories for kids! Seriously.. this IS the best gift!

We love this chair so far. The reason why I’m giving 4 starts it’s because I ordered the chair with the tray and I didn’t received the tray.

I ordered this and another portable chair. The design of the Inglesina is far superior to the other chair that I wouldn't even put a child into due to it's poor design. I have not had any issues installing this chair on a variety of tables, including ones that have a fairly large skirt that hangs down below. Sometimes to install it on a table with a skirt, you can open the bottom support piece all the way up and then angle the chair so that this vertical support piece goes behind the skirt of the table (and then you straighten the chair with the support piece behind the skirt). This will not work with all table designs though as some have the skirt too far from the edge of the table. For these tables, either install it on the skirt itself or just in front of the skirt. It is also really nice that the bag is attached and included so it is never lost. I do wish that the bag had a cord cincher as there's no way (other than tying it) to keep the bag closed once you pull the drawstring. The back is high enough on the chair to support a younger baby as well (we've used it since our baby was ~4 months old). The seat belt straps also helped to keep the baby upright as they're learning to sit. I purchased with the tray and love the tray as well so my child doesn't get their hands on any "dirty" restaurant surfaces. We also suctioned a toy to the tray which helps keep them entertained when not eating. Others have complained about the gap that ends up between the front strap and the tray. Yes, it's there, and I could see my child eventually throwing things down this gap, but I suppose it's not any worse than the inevitable throwing of stuff over the sides as well. =)

My daughter-in-law recommended this for my granddaughter when she visits. It is very sturdy, clips on great and the fabric is washable but also wipes off with a wet cloth between washings. I highly recommend it.
