Transformers 7-Movie Collection

I've never been into the Transformers in the past but decided to buy and watch these movies to give 'em shot when someone recommended them to me since I like sci-fi movies. It's a fair price IMO for 7 quality movies in HD format. First, about the actual collection, the collection box was received in good new condition with all the Blu Rays wrapped as they should be. No issues with the physical box and collection, so 5 stars there. For the movies, I really enjoyed all of them for the most part, but some more than others. I won't write a review for them here because there are other websites specifically for that. Generally, they're very entertaining. Bubblebee is my favorite movie of the series. He's also my favorite character. He's the "R2-D2" of the series... the loyal, emotional, lovable, funny robot with grit. Gotta love him. One thing about the movies (most of them) that I didn't care for is that sometimes the action on the screen moves literally too fast. It was sometimes hard to follow the action and I had to rewind a few seconds to catch some of the details like which were Autobots and which were Decepticons. It sometimes moved so fast that it gave me a headache. Luckily that didn't happen constantly. It was just a few parts in each movie. I'd recommend watching the movies in order of release. They can be watched out of order too because they're each solid standalone movies, but they made more sense to me in order of release. You could watch them in chronological order I suppose, but who doesn't appreciate a flashback movie. I'd recommend this collection to anyone who likes sci-fi action movies and getting it on Amazon is a pretty good deal. Two thumbs up!

So the digital codes do not come with transformers and revenge of the fallen digital codes come with the last five movies I got a hold of Paramount Pictures I had to take pictures of the front and back of each movie along with proof of purchase took 5 days but they sent me the digital codes so you can't obtain digital codes that are missing on Paramount's website!!

All discs working, No broken cases. Transformers 4 and 5 have extra special bonus discs in them.

Used don't buy, the codes are even used, they have scratches on them plus finger prints, very disappointed, they were bought as a Christmas gift!!

Awesome 4k uhd investment!

A repackiging of single movie releases. Individual slip cases still contained plastic wrapping from previous shelf life. Nothing cohesive about the collection other than being transformer movies. Only a collection of the single releases

I've read all the doom and gloom reviews, and there is merit to them. Definitely not worth full asking price. I got it not only on sale, but with a 30% off applicable coupon, and store credit I had, making it only really cost me $25, so I took the risk, and I got a set in mostly decent condition. The Bumblebee Movies case was spit at the hinges on the top. Dark of the moons case on the lower left corner of the spine looked as if someone rubbed it against sandpaper. I knew what I was getting into. This set is repackaged from old individual 4K releases, that probably never sold, so they removed the slipcovers and plastic film en masse as one would shuck a clam, in some warehouse, chucking them haphazardly in giant piles, the cases becoming scuffed and cracked under all the friction and weight of all the other movies being tossed on top. I could imagine this being done at breakneck speed would also end up with some popping open, and having the paper slips with codes getting lost or damaged. Of course after all that physical trauma, they then get shoved into a newly minted, larger collectors set slipcover, shrink-wrapped, and shipped out to retailers. The collectors set slipcover is flimsy cardboard, and does not protect the cases from getting further damaged in shipping from either bumps, or any pressure applied to the cases inside that are tightly pressed against one another. Despite the traumatic process of physically converting these individual 4K movie releases into a set, and knowing from the prior reviewers how badly that process can go wrong, my gamble paid off for the most part. Other than the wear and tear previously mentioned, my copies have all been left unscathed. The individual paper slips with codes were intact, and all the digital redemptions worked as advertised. Not bad for a $25 gamble. Would have still been happy with the results if it was double that price. If you can get it cheap, I say take the risk. The movies themselves are a great experience in 4K.
