A life-saver on an extreme diet
These are a game-changer... I'm SO glad to have found these "noodles" on my current diet!I got a bit squishier than I'd like during the pandemic and finally got around to putting myself on a diet. But being a tiny person with a pretty low basal metabolic rate, cutting enough calories to shed pounds means I'm mega limited in what I can eat. I'm always on the lookout for filling foods that don't rack up the calories, and these are just the ticket! Some reviewers have mentioned that these are too chewy, or they don't have a taste... well, yeah, they aren't going to be like actual pasta or rice. However, plain pasta and rice aren't too flavorful, either; they're just the carrier - the vessel, if you will - for tasty toppings! These don't have much in the way of smell or taste on their own. And the texture, while a bit toothier than an overcooked spaghetti noodle, is not bad. They are closer to rice/glass noodles than anything. If you don't mind that, you won't mind these. And at 6 calories a serving vs. 200+ for actual noodles or rice, I'm more than willing to make a tiny flavor sacrifice. Even my partner - who is NOT on a diet - will share these with me happily.I can make these with vegetable bouillon, a few fresh veggies (spinach, kale, asparagus, peppers, etc.), and a splash of soy sauce and hot sauce for an extremely filling meal that's only 30 calories and easy to prep, using the microwave or just boiling water from the kettle. Or I mix in the "rice" with steamed broccoli and some meatless "steak" tips and enjoy a nice stir-fry for only about 100-150 calories total. OR I make a homemade tomato sauce with fresh tomatoes, spices, capers, and other fresh veggies, and have a satisfying spaghetti dinner that clocks in at around 35 total calories!Obviously, you need enough caloric intake to survive, so I'm not encouraging anyone to under-eat... but if you're close to your daily calorie limit and still hungry, these make a great way to stave off food cravings! And while I'm making healthier choices and watching my intake overall, these are definitely helping with my diet; I am actively losing weight. I'm on my second variety pack already and will definitely continue to keep these on hand throughout the course of my diet, and maybe even thereafter.I only wish that these could be packaged dry somehow, and that the price were more comparable to actual rice & noodles. Still, this particular product is the best value I've found.

Love it!!
I’ve been eating konjac noodles for years from a different company. Just found out that it comes in rice form. Decided to give it a try because I’m kinda sick of cauliflower rice, and I am now hooked. Gonna be perfect for when I’m craving rice

Good. Small bags
They taste fine but the bag sizes are significantly less than other brands so they only work for a single person

Awful.
I find these horrible and inedible. Other low-carb noodles can be stinky and these aren’t, but the texture is beyond awful. Boiled rubber bands would be preferable and less slimy. If you like traditional noodles, this may not be your alternative.

taste food when mixed
DO NOT cook this by itself. This needs to be mixed with 1:1 or 2:1 regular rice so it can absorb the rice flavor and you will not be able to tell the difference. Great for weight loss

Too expensive!
These are a "12 pack" but the packs are small, barely enough for one person. One bag weighs just 3.5 oz drained. Also, they were supposed to come 3 packs each of rice, spaghetti noodles, angel noodles, and fettuccini noodles, but they ended up giving me an uneven package with more of the rice and less of the spaghetti. Considering the price I paid (almost $3/oz), these are NOT worth it! I can buy 8 oz packages of konjac noodles in Winco for under $2.75 apiece.

I love it!
It is just rinsing it to make it ready to cook. It does not smell at all. Over more low-calories. It’s a great product.
