Topmount Sink Clips

We bought a workstation style sink. We did not realize that those sinks are made to look good in the ads, not to actually be installed in a counter. The clips that came with the sink were unusable. I am a retired engineer and I can assure you, they were awful and were not made to be installed into US style cabinets. I bought these because it looked like they might work. They did work well on three sides of the sink. The countertop is 1.5" butcher block and the sink fills most of the upper part of the cabinet. On two sides I had to unscrew the clip and attach the upper part to the sink before dropping it into the countertop. Then I was able to re-attach the clasp part from below and tighten it down. There was no room at all on the front size of the sink and I actually had to use a longer screw so the clasp could grip onto the face-frame of the cabinet. These hassles are not the fault of the Dreyoo clips. They are just inherent in trying to squeeze a large sink into such a small space. If you are trying to install a workstation sink, please give these a try. It will still not be easy, but these will at least make it possible.

Those are fine clips, but 6 out of 12 were defective and did not open. It was not difficult to fix by squeezing little stripes of metal with pliers, it's just not what you expect to do when you are ready to put clips on the sink and the silicon is already drying.

These worked great for our thick butcher block counters.

I ordered these clips because the ones that came with the sink were totally unusable. These were better, but would not tighten to the counter bottom without making some spacer shims so the toughening screw wouldn’t bottom out. I got them in, but I never want to do that again..

They are made of heavy duty Stainless Steel, don't see any issues!!

These clips worked well for securing my outdoor sink and feel strong once installed. My only complaint is the screws—they were tough to tighten at an awkward angle, and I would have preferred a square drive or something easier to work with. Overall, though, they get the job done and hold firmly.

They're better than most with a couple of issues. There's a plastic pivot point that the tensioning screw uses as a nut. The plastic is soft and strips out easily. I also had to reshape the spiked side for a deeper grip on the counter. That isn't likely an issue for everyone, but the plastic will be. Get the pack of 10 so you have extras in case you strip any out. They're a good design and I would buy them again unless I find one with a metal pivot pin.
