Wroks well
I bought a couple of these and they work fine - although the instructions are lacking and support is pretty much non-existent. MY only gripe - which I could not resolve - it that the LED is red when on and green when off - which is the opposite of what the manual indicates. I tried reversing a couple wires (per the only support reply I got - but I had already tried...) and switching to the other switch on the circuit - but nothing worked - so I just left it. The app correctly indicates the switch as On/Off - so I wonder if it's a design or documentation flaw.

Was --> Not very Smart --> now smart
Update 9/25/19: The seller sent me an updated product soon after my previous update and I'm now just getting around to installing them. The instructions were great and the install was easy. The switches now work as expected without the toggling effect described in the original review below. They look great and I appreciate their great customer service along with a great product. I recommend these switches for 3 way install without hesitation.Update 8/15/19: great customer service from the seller. They acknowledged the bug and are gong to send me replacements.Original Review:I've installed a couple of these and it does work, however, as I stated in the subject, it's not very smart. The switch doesn't appear to know if the light is on or off and simply toggles the light on and off no matter what command you give it. For example, when using Alexa you can say " Alexa turn dining room light on" and the light comes on, but then while it is on if you give the same Alexa command it turns the light off -- so just toggles the light on and off no matter the command. You might think you could live with this, but if this switch is in a group of switches or plugs then the switch can easily get out of sync with the others. For example, if you have an "all lights" group on Alexa and you would normally give the command, "Alexa turn all lights off" and any lights that are on would be turned off and others that weren't on would be left off, but this switch will turn on with that command (if it was off) thereby making your "all lights" group not as useful. If the switch were really smart it would know if the light is on or off and respond accordingly as other smart devices do... I've been waiting for an affordable smart 3-way switch like this for some time and I'm very disappointed in the toggle function.

UPDATED: "Dumb" Smart Switch
UPDATE: After writing my review the seller got in touch with me and informed me that they were aware of the issue and were working on a fix. I was not optimistic that I would ever hear back from them and I found a way to use the current ones so I didn't return them. A few weeks later they contacted me again and said that they had updated the switches and wanted to send the new switches out to me. I received them in a week and installed them the same day. The new switches look the same except now there are pigtails for all the connections from the switch instead of just the ground and neutral. I have to say that whatever they did, these new switches work as intended. They now know if they are on or off so when given the command thru Alexa to turn all the lights on/off, they do as commanded instead of just switching each time a command was given regardless of their current status. I have raised my review to 5 stars because the switches now work as intended and for the great customer service and follow thru on fixing the problems that everyone was reporting.I purchased 3 of these switches for my stairs, and two hallways and I am having the same issue as the previous post. I only installed one smart switch per circuit and the other switch is still a standard "Dumb" switch. You would think that with the switches turning either green of red that it would know if it is on or not but like B Wentz, my switches will turn on and off with the same command to Alexa

Not a true 3-way switch
First off, the definition of a 3-way switch is one that can act along one or more additional switches to turn a light on and off from different locations. None of the switches in the circuits should act as single point cut off for the other switches, so if the light is turned off at one location it should be able to be turned back on at a different location and vice versa. This switch does not do that. The wiring in the back is clearly marked to take in ground, neutral (which are standard ), Yl/Rd (which I took to mean traveler), load (which goes to the light), and lastly Live. This is nonsensical, as there shouldn't be both a load and a Live wire in a three-way switch. This made me worried right off the bat, but I went ahead and installed it anyways, only to confirm the markings are indeed accurate. First off, I installed the switch on the load side of a 4-way circuit, which has a 3-way switch at the live side and a 4-way switch in between. I connected the ground, neutral, and load wires as usual. I connected the two traveler wires to the remaining two wires, marked Live and Yl/Rd. Unfortunately, the switch indeed only gets powered from the Live terminal, which means the switch cannot actually be controlled from the other locations in the circuit, as switching the power from the Live traveler to the Yl/Rd makes the entire switch lose power. Again, this is not a 3-way switch and should not be advertised as such. By the way, switching the Live and Yl/Rd wires doesn't accomplish anything other than changing the configuration of the non-smart switches required for the smart switch to get power, again, the switch itself only gets power from the Live wire, which is not the way it should work, it should be able to get power from either traveler. Returning.

Decent 3-way. Room for improvement.
These switches seem to work ok. Be sure to place them on the load side of your circuit (closest to the light fixture), otherwise the led will not properly indicate power (will always be red). Also, be sure to generously wrap the terminals in electrical tape if you have a metal switchbox, as they could easily cause a short circuit.

Finicky works when it wants to
3 way set up. Wiring is straight forward. Worked. Then it doesn’t. Returned
