Perfect Set Up
My husband absolutely was so surprised with this. It took me a month to figure out which one to buy. Overall this is the best starter record player. We hook this to a Marshall speaker via Bluetooth and sounds amazing! It's easy to set up and connect every time. I think I did pretty well for starting him up with everything.

Good Mid Range
I see the reviews about skipping and I have experienced it but it's not bad overall It's a very good sounding record player with little worry about scratching records.

Bang for your Buck
The best bang for your buck when it comes to a solid modern record player. Very very happy with this choice

Great turntable, not so great instructions
This is exactly what I wanted from a turntable. Once set up it is easy to use, gentle on records, and it comes with a decent stylus. With an adaptor (not included) music can easily be transferred to iTunes, etc. on a computer. It was very easy to to assemble, except the belt drive. It initially fell off due to extremely poorly written instructions that made little sense. I initially called Amazon, and they tried to help but were also confused by the instructions. I then called Audio Technica, and my call was returned in about an hour by Anthony, a tech rep, who showed me how to fix the problem. What he explained to me should have been added to the instructions, and he mentioned that my issue was a common one. Come on, Audio Technica: Add a sentence or two to the instruction manual in clear English with a drawing or simple explanation of how to assemble the belt drive if it initially falls off - which it easily does because of the unbelievably incomprehensible drawing presently included in the instructions. Such a good product deserves better!

Great record player
Great record player for the money. I did have one issue though, the record wouldn’t play to the end about 30% of the time. I received a replacement and haven’t had any issues with the replacement.Easy to set up and connect via Bluetooth, I’m connecting to a Sony sound bar.If you’re thinking about getting into vinyls, don’t skimp on the record player by buying any of those sub $100 all in ones. There’s no comparison in sound and quality. Also, do yourself a favor and buy decent speakers, you don’t have to break the bank, but they make all the difference. I tried going cheap because I wanted it see if my daughter would get into vinyls like I use to be, without spending the money, totally regretted going the cheap way initially. Spending a little more makes a huge difference.

Issues started after a couple weeks
Worked fine for about two weeks and then started skipping as many other reviewers have mentioned. Not sure how the Amazon reviews all of sudden say 4+ stars but I wouldn’t trust that. Wait until AT addresses the problem before purchasing.

Astounding
I upgraded from a DIGITNOW turntable (my first one ever) and the quality difference is absurd. The sound quality is impeccable. This is a must for my fellow music nerds
