Great buy, great product
TP-Link WiFi extender performs well and noticeably improves coverage throughout the house. The signal reaches further than expected, even through walls, which helps in rooms that previously had weak connections. With four people using it at the same time for everyday tasks like streaming and video calls, the speed holds up without major issues. Setup was simple and didn’t take long. Overall, it’s a practical solution for extending WiFi in larger or more difficult spaces.

A Decent signal extender but not a booster
I got this extender to extend my 300mbps connection to a new room, which is around 5-7ft away from the actual router. When I purchased, I observed this router extends the signal to upto 10000ft, our house being only around 2500sqft I thought this should suffice to give us good signal across the house with decent speed. After I received the product following are the issues I noticed: 1. Since I use act broadband, and the router band selection is set in auto, this extender doesn't always pick up any other bands/channels other than 36&48. I think it's a general issue across all TP Link products. Tip: please buy the extender from the same company has router. 2. I changed my router configuration to only broadcast in 48 channel. After that the router consistently picked up the signal. 3. Wi-Fi boosting is almost negligible: When I did a speed test by connecting directly to base wifi network and extended wifi network. I saw a negligible gain off speed of around 5-10%, surprisingly sometimes the speed on extended network was lesser than the speed on base network. But when we connect via it's lan port, the speed was around 50-60% of the available speed. So that's in the range off 140-180 MBPS, my actual speed 300 mbps. PS: This speeds are only in the 5G network. In 2.4G it's very abysmal, it's like 10-20% of the available bandwidth, around 20-30 mbps if you are lucky. 4. Signal strength: The signal is generally available across my house, but once we go to a different room the maximum speed you'll get is around 50 mbps. Anything farther than 50-80ft you'll have signal but not enough data speed. In conclusion, Buy this only if: 1. You have a TP Link router already, from here you can easily extend. 2. Don't fall to the marketing gimmicks off 10000 sqft, it's usually a max of 500sqft of useable bandwidth. 3. It's not technically a wifi booster, it gives a gain off max 20%. 4. Please remember this doesn't support one mesh. Limited configuration options. Remember this: Using an extender will always increase ping and latency. Also the upload speeds are not usually same as download speeds. The extender takes around 30sec to fully boot and be ready. If 5G is available then there will be no internet on 2G network.

Reliable Signal Boost with TP-Link AC750 WiFi Range Extender
I recently purchased the TP-Link AC750 WiFi Range Extender, and I must say, it has made a significant difference in my home network. Here's my review: Performance (4/5): The AC750 range extender effectively expanded the coverage of my WiFi network. I noticed a noticeable improvement in signal strength and stability in areas of my home that previously had weak or no coverage. It handled multiple devices simultaneously, including streaming and online gaming, without any major hiccups. However, the range may not be sufficient for very large homes or outdoor areas. Easy Setup (5/5): Setting up the extender was a breeze. TP-Link provides clear, step-by-step instructions, and the mobile app made the process even more straightforward. Within minutes, I had it up and running. Compact Design (4/5): The compact design of the extender allows it to plug into any electrical outlet without obstructing adjacent sockets. It blends well with the surroundings and doesn't draw unnecessary attention. Dual-Band Functionality (4/5): The dual-band capability was a significant advantage. It allowed me to connect devices to the 5GHz band for faster speeds, while older devices could still connect to the 2.4GHz band. This versatility was a definite plus. Reliability (4/5): The range extender worked reliably most of the time. Occasionally, there were some minor signal drops or the need to reset the extender, but overall, it offered a substantial improvement in network stability. Price (5/5): The TP-Link AC750 offers great value for the price. It's an affordable solution for improving WiFi coverage without breaking the bank. In conclusion, the TP-Link AC750 WiFi Range Extender is a reliable and budget-friendly solution for improving WiFi coverage in a typical household. While it may not be suitable for large homes or complex network setups, it does an excellent job for the average user. If you need a simple and effective way to extend your WiFi signal, this extender is worth considering.

GREAT!
Does what it’s supposed to do perfectly! Just place it midway between your router and the spot that’s lacking signal. It works like a charm. You get a good speed as well.

Coverage area
The item was received on time and in good condition. The installation was easy. One needs to just follow the installation guide. I downloaded the tethering app for installation. The optimum reception distance from the main router is around 6.5 mtrs ( 20ft). The transmission coverage fell short of my expectation. The signal strength starts falling after 2mtrs. At 4mtrs the signal strength showinng in my laptop is the dot plus one bar only. Though it suffices my requirement, I suspect it could be problematic for one trying to download/upload data rich content.

I’m using it as an access point — works perfectly. Even with a wall in between and at about 15 meters distance, I still get over 500 Mbps, which is impressive considering the maximum speed at close range is around 550–600 Mbps.

So it’s useless. And I have to pay for a return. I genuinely feel like I’ve been scammed.

Added this to my home because my other extender was way outdated . It works - don't have some of the issues(buffering for one) as previous. Easy install.

SCS (Smart Selection of Best Wireless Channel).
