Self Watering System - Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit with Timer, Adjustable Watering Frequency, LED Display, Powered by 5V USB or Battery

Works very well and was easy to set up for my 6 house plants. Let’s see how long it will last.

I recently bought another automatic waterer, but returned it as it didn't work. This one is easy to set up/ duration/ frequency/ delay. It runs from either batteries or a USB lead, However, I believe that if power is lost to the device, it looses its settings. So, I am running it from a USB power bank, which is in turn plugged in to a USB mains power supply. The power bank has a pass through capability, meaning that it can be charged and power the waterer simultaneously, but in a power outage, takes over. The waterer seems to work as it should, and has drippers and flow control valves, which means that watering can be individually reduced for less thirsty plants. The hose supplied is black, which should prevent algae in the tubes. So far it is working as it should and I am happy. If it goes bonkers or packs up, I will report back :-).

Additionally, the tubing can be a bit stiff, making it tricky to position precisely.Overall, this is a convenient and effective solution for anyone looking to automate their plant watering, especially during busy weeks or vacations. It has definitely helped keep my plants healthy and well-watered without much effort on my part.

The media could not be loaded. The written instructions were not so easy to follow and I got confused. The pics on Amazon helped more. It took some time to figure out from the manual which was frustrating.It worked but instructions could have been better. A bigger bucket of water over a 2 litre bottle that I had been using would be much better as it can get through a lot of water.Uses 4 AA batteries and also attached to a USB source as well. I tend to forget to water my plants so hoping this will help.An instruction video would be useful over the written manual instructions. I am unsure how long the batteries would last. I would feel better connecting it to an electrical USB source so it won't run out of power as the 4 batteries are back up in case of a power cut.Hopefully my plants will be happier now 🍀
