excellent flashlight
I've been using a these flashlights for a couple of years and I don't think I've ever had to replace the battery. It comes with one D batteryinside, all you have to do is remove the plastic cover from one end of the battery and you're good to go. Plenty bright, lightweight, good solid switch that works very well and because it uses a LED bulb, the battery will literally last forever. I say lightweight, mostly because it only uses one D battery, I thought it needed a battery because it wasn't working when it arrived. Ran around the house to find a battery only to realize it had one inside the whole time. i just needed to remove the protection cover so the battery wouldn't discharge during handling.

Great product!
Perfect on quality, visibility, value. Too soon to know durability.

Just one thing I'm missing....
I really like this flashlight. While it's lightweight, it takes a "D" battery, which adds a nice little bit of weight to it. Really, really bright light. Turns on and off easily. I miss one thing these flashlights used to have.....a magnet on the side. It was great for hanging it on the side of the fridge or on the metal cabinet in the shed. So, I really like it....but I miss that magnet.

A Must Have Tool For The Home
Great little battery that is adequate for everyday home use. Feels light in the hand, comes with a battery and produces a nice bright beam - a very uncomplicated and fun tool to use. Will purchase another one soon.

Good value
Ok for close up, but not long range.

Great product for a senior
If you have an elderly parent who likes the old style flashlight, this is perfect for them. It is one button on and one button off . No flashing. No strobe. No multiple clicks to get it on or off. It is the perfect size. Not to heavy. I am thinking about getting another one for me.

Not workable as received
I was happy to see I received a red one, but this 72 year old kid has no clue how it was intended to work, or how it could possibly have worked as configured when received. It came with only one battery, which does not fill the battery space inside. Yet the wording on the Eveready cardboard ring around the flashlight clearly says BATTERIES. There was the kind of spring in the bottom that typically presses up on the base of batteries to press them snug against a lightbulb. But the spring was turned sideways and jammed at the bottom, and became hopelessly entangled with the metal strip that connects the spring to the switch and bulb unit, so I cannot remove or re-situate the spring into an upright position. If that were possible, may one battery would do. There is no bulb, but perhaps the light unit is a new kind of glassless "lightbulb" designed to be safer for kids. All I need is an old fashioned flashlight.
