Recieved this product in a good condition. Quality wise it is very nice and the material looks durable. Go for it. The blade is also very sharp and cutting becomes easy. Value for money.

Update: I bought 25 more of these as return gifts and everyone of them has the same issue, which is that the string rubs against the hole when you pull straight, so you need to pull at an angle. This is a design flaw. This is an average chopper that should last a while if cared for properly. It is a delicate chopper, so you need to be thoughtful while using it. We are satisfied with the results. For delicates (like leafy vegs) you can easily fill it and still chop without the blade getting blocked. On the very first use, the rubber non-slip ring came loose (see attached picture). However, we are not exchanging it because this seems like a design flaw and is the case for all models (even my previous Solimo chopper had the same issue). I bought this to replace a medium size Solimo chopper (this one: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07FFG653K/) which gave up with in 3 months of occasional non daily usage, The thread broke and I hoped that the lid could be opened for repair, but it seemed to be permanently glued. Also, it was too small for a family of 4 and it could only be used half full or the blade would get blocked. When I was looking for a bigger replacement, I narrowed down to this and Artikel choppers because of being highly rated. I decided to go with this because: + The lid can be opened for some repairability. When going through negative ratings for both, you would realize that majority of the issues are related to either thread getting stuck or losing spring action. It seems that you can't open the lid on Artikel model, but there are plenty of youtube videos showing how to open the lid on Pigeon and fix the issue. + This is of course much cheaper and that matters for This model has 5 blades, which is good (see attached picture) though the description says 3. On the negative side, this has no storage lid, but I doubt you would miss it. We haven't used the beater yet, so no comment on it. Here are some tips: - Do not wash the lid directly under tap and don't submerse it. Use a wet sponge instead. - If you feel a lot of resistance to the pull or if the food is getting stuck, don't put too much force, instead reduce the load. - When pulling handle, angle it such that the thread won't rub against the lid wall. Ours doesn't come out in 90 degree angle, not sure if this is a design flaw or manufacturing defect. If we pull the handle exactly opposite to the lid, it will end up touching the hole so we have to pull it at an angle.

I bought many mini choppers but they broke immediately. Only this is durable. Writing review after using for few months
