Salvation for walls in an old house
This product is brilliant to work with. Paste the wall, take care getting the joints to butt, smooth out any bubbles, cut it with a sharp stanley knife and a metal ruler, and it didn’t tear once, even in the fiddly corners. It leaves a really hard, resistant finish and now I’m looking forward to painting it. OK, it cost more than filler, but the result is so much better.

HIDE A MULTITUDE OF SINS
Anyone that lives in an old house knows how difficult it is disguising cracks, lumps, bumps without going through the pain of replastering. This stuff is amazing, you still have to do prep work and it won't disguise walls in really bad condition but it is really effective. It is thick but is easy to use, my only complaint it is really difficult to trim with a knife because of the fibre content. I bought the paper in various widths which seemed expensive but meant less wasted paper. Use a good paste.

Brill
I make my living as a decorator and I have used wall rock hundreds of times, especially for hall, stairs and landings to give that clean plastered wall finish look.there is no finer product for the job it does. Hung with care and attention to detail you can’t go wrong. Cracks can’t break through as it’s a fibre liner not a paper like lining paper. Tips for use. 1.Always use high quality ready mixed paste, 2. Paste the wall. If doing ceilings paste the liner and ceiling. 3. Apply to walls horizontally.4. Butt tightly but do not overlap and fill joints with an easy sand powder mix filler.5. Prior to painting rub an old piece of sand paper gently along the filled joints or your hand or a slightly damp cloth. The trick is not to use excessive amounts of filler. More expensive than lining paper but the quality and finish is superb.

Best you can buy
Original version is ideal for covering poor walls with hairline cracks, very easy to use both to apply and to cut. Excellent value at this price

Very good
Had to cover a very bad wall in an late 1800 house. I did hardly any prep on the wall and the paper covered everything very well.Used with the pre mixed adhesive from the same manufacturer which was also excellent .
