Awesome if you're in need of agar plates.. if not I'd stay away lol

This was a great purchase for my sons science project. Easy to use and fun for him it was very durable under the heat lamp and it was a great value for what we got

Do NOT follow the instructions provided, they state to incubate at 85 to 100 degrees. Agar melting point is 85 degrees F. ALL plates liquefied into the lids. Several of the plates also had moisture built up on the lids when first opened.

Worked great for my class of second grade.

Good quality, but one of my dishes came broken :( Box was also damaged

These worked great for my daughter's science project! The agar in one of the petri dishes was dried up and didn't show much bacteria growth. Otherwise, great!

Does what it's supposed to do.

Have used this kit twice for different experiments and the kit and booklet are great and easy to use. However, the most recent kit I ordered came with one completely smashed Petri dish on top of the stack. We didn’t have time to return and order a replacement due to project deadlines, so we unfortunately had to reduce the experiment. Beware of shipping damage, and allow time for kit replacement if necessary.
