But if you know this before ordering you will be able use it without leaving a negative review.I used for horizontal and vertical repairs. I only used a little bit of product for the vertical repairs and came back the next day and filled in whatever had dripped out.It dries very solid and sands well.My pic was before sanding.

Used this to seal a hole I made on my corvette floor board and it worked well, a little harder to use then bondo but is definitely stronger and waterproof and water tight. Paint adhered well

While I do not own a boat, I do own a couple of things that have fiberglass shells. A moped being what I purchased this product for. After purchasing a couple of other household repair kits, I started doing a bunch of small repairs around the house.These simple repair kits save you from having to purchase larger amounts of material that you wouldn't really use outside of the repair. For instance, I purchased paint kit that helped to patch up a few peeled paint spots around the house. I didn't need a pint of paint for such a small repair so for me, it was a good choice.In this case, this Marine Fiberglass Repair Kit for Boats is an epoxy filler that will help to patch damaged or peeled fiberglass. In the box was a two-part mixing syringe that dispenses the filler, a couple of sheets of sand paper, and a couple of spudgers for mixing the filler as well as to spread it out.In use, it is the same as any other patch kit. You need to clean the surface and sand it a bit to rough it up to prepare for the filler. Then mix the product, noting that it's a 1:1 ratio, which the syringe is supposed to help with, and apply it on the patch spot.It takes 24 hours to fully cure so come back the next day to sand down the filler to blend it in with the surface. This filler should protect the patched area very well.Overall, the kit had everything I needed to make my small repair and I didn't need to make multiple trips to the hardware store.
