Q: How do you know which knives go into which slots ?

Intuition. It’s not that hard, some can go in more than one slot, but it doesn’t really matter.

Q: The set has 11 holes and comes with 6 knives. Wich knives are missing?

Unit comes with the following five knives: Set comprises of 7" Asian cook's knife, 8.25" carving knife, 8.75" bread knife, 5.25" utility knife, 4" paring knife. Some slots in the knife block accommodate various sized knives so you would need to research other knives sold by Global to determine what you would add.

Q: Will there be a slot for a pair of scissors?

The top slot, which is designed for the sharpener, can be used for the shears (scissors). I use it that way and they fit perfectly.

Q: How do I know these are not counterfeit

I do not know! I bought them and all the set looks perfectly genuine and works fine. CL
