OtterBox Galaxy Z Fold6 Defender Series XT Case - Black, screenless, Rugged Hinge Protection, Lanyard Attachment, PowerShare and Wireless Charging Compatible

It works great. A lot better than any Fold 4 case I have ever tried and I tried over 10. Now on the Fold 6, OtterBox have seem to got their act together. Good coverage, all plastic. Tall on front screen but angled to allow gestures. One complaint, you can put it face down and its flat, put face up, teeter totters. Been very happy and dropped it twice with no issues.

I'm definitely glad I switched to this case. At first I was hesitant because of the price, but it protects my phone better than any other case, and this phone isn't cheap. The one thing I will say is that debris does get trapped in the hinge part and will rub against the phone as it's opened and closed, and due to this a small scratch has appeared. My advice is do regular cleanings by removing the phone from the case and cleaning out the debris.

I would like to first off say that I am a fan of Otter Boxes but have never owned one up to this point. I've had people tell me nothing but good things about them and how they are so durable and it's last them the whole phones lifetimes and stuff like that, I ordered it based off the recommendations alone I patiently waited. Once I got the case I noticed how the packaging of the case was already open like someone just shoved it in there without quality checking the box, that was the first red flag but I chalked it up to oversight it happens. Then I got ahold of the case and I can tell you I was disappointed but not surprised. The case had to be plastic and some what flexible I knew that but mainly the quality of the plastic was very cheap, my wife even asked me "Are you sure this is the right case?" And I reluctantly nodded my head. I ordered my screen protector and it got here today and the case was not compatible with it, a piece on the left side of the case would hang over making it hard to focus when you have something that noticeable in the way. Reading up on it the case has issues with screen protectors. I then dropped my phone for the first time and the whole thing pretty much broke. The swivel portion of the case broke after hitting the top left corner of the case and now it's lost it's purpose. Do not buy this for 90$+, do not buy it for 70$ not even 40$. This is a sub-par piece of plastic that you can buy from Temu for 70% less than what you pay for here. Do not get this case and expect quality, you are buying the name alone.

When I fist got my Z Fold 3, there was no Otter Box available. I made due with other cases, and when I upgraded to the Z Fold 6, I went with the same cases. Then when my last case broke again, as they are all so flimsy, I did another search and saw Otter Box was making them for the Z Fold line. Is it expensive? Yes. But you instantly feel the difference in quality. The way the plastic feels, the perfect fit, and I LOVE that this is one piece. All the others are in two parts, and the parts don't usually work perfectly. This case is a little more bulky, which I find to be a good thing for actual protection. The hing protection is absolutely perfect. The hings cover is perfectly centered and flat. When you have it open and lay it down, it balances on the hing instead of falling to one side or another due to the weird angle and position you get on all other cases. Wireless charging through the case works perfectly, despite the slightly thicker case. A built-in stand might have been nice, but I will let that slide for a case that is made with the proper care and quality as opposed to all the random letter clone brands that now flood Amazon.

Fits GREAT! My phone is finally protected, its a 1 piece case so the thinner part of the case isn't gonna break or fall off right away like the 2 piece cases.

Just short of the 5-stars because the plastic protection around the camera has started to peel off. Otherwise, it was a great purchase.

Otterbox really missed the mark with this one. I have been a loyal Otterbox customer for over a decade. So when it came time to buy a case for my new ZFold 6 I just went straight to find the Otterbox Zfold 6 case and bought it, just as I have always done with my previous phones (Galaxy note 3, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S24, Windows phone 8, etc etc. I recommend all of those Commuter/Defender Series cases.) I should have shopped around and done my research this time and not assumed. Inferior design, no Magsafe, no rubber sleeve like Otterbox is famous for. No SPen holder. Buttons are difficult to push. Case blocks the edges of the screen and the fingerprint scanner. This should be a 15 dollar case, but the price you're paying is for the Otterbox name. It doesn't live up to their reputation.

Feels nice and sturdy. Very happy with purchase.

You can find higher quality in a Chinese sweat shop. I've been buying otterbox for roughly 10 years give or take and I've never seen such a poorly designed product. To start mine was obviously used/returned because the box was already open as soon as I opened the package. You can see the rubber strip in the first few pictures is not sealed and was peeling off right out of the box. In the video you can see the face of the case binds to the hinge section which will cause damage to the phone itself. Want a screen protector? Not with this case, as soon as I fit my phone in then the front screen protector started lifting off my phone. Regardless of all these faults the entire construction of the case is very cheap and if you were to drop it the case would shatter at the most crucial points of impact. I wouldn't sell this case for $10 let alone $100. Save yourself the time and money.

Ordered for my new phone, works great. I love that it closes the charging port especially with my work, I have metal shavings on my phone all the time from my pockets. With the charging port being covered, im not getting metal shavings in my phone. Update March 9,2025 Ive had this case for a while now, it's durable, the center piece collects ALOT of dirt and crap in general. Also not a fan that their is no built in screen protector. That's one reason I love otter box. Was pretty disappointed about that. Phone case says its wireless charging compatible, but i just purchased one, and in order for the wireless charging to work, I need to remove the phone case. Disappointed about that as well.

Build quality is best as ususal but my case doesn't have the charging port cover
