One of the best inks I’ve used so far
I desperately needed a better ink because the one I have been using flowed off the nib horribly. Deleter black inks are my new favorite for comic illustration. It is a little thicker than most inks I have tried, but it has a very rich black look to it. It flows off the nib beautifully, especially the nikko nibs, it seems to clog more easily on zebra nibs for me. If I notice the ink not flowing well, I just clean the nib in a cup of water, dry it, and continue drawing. I know some people may not like the thickness but you start to get used to it. I honestly would rather prefer a slightly thicker ink than one that drips off the nib easily. Overall, great product and worth the money🙂

BEST INK!!!
This is my favorite black ink. It is so easy to write and draw with, but it does dry quickly. I keep a baby wipe/damp rag near me to wipe the nib of my pen occasionally during use. The color is SUPER pigmented, which I haven’t found in other brands for this price. Great price and experience with this ink!

works wonders with tachikawa dip pens
not sure if the phrase “vibrant black” makes much sense, but this ink is JET black. excellent for someone like me, who loves ultra black, opaque inks. reacts well with water and isn’t hard to wash out of clothes. can be hard to get off wood if it sinks in too deep (though the wood my desk is made of isn’t actually finished). dries relatively quickly but can smudge if you’re not careful, just like any other dip pen ink. good for ink washing!

Dark ink that dries quickly
This ink works pretty well! It dries quickly, doesn't seem to smudge or lift easily, and is pretty dark. The container is, to be frank, not the best, but the ink itself is good; I wouldn't trust the container for any sort of travelling, though, and even with home use, I had one instance where some ink droplets sprayed out from the container, so you should take care when using this product. When diluted, this ink produces a really wonderful warm grey ink wash- I definitely want to experiment using it for washes in the near future. Overall, although this is a great ink, I'll be honest that I don't think this ink is significantly better than Speedball's Super Black ink, which is cheaper where I live; it perhaps flowed slightly nicer and was a little more resistant to smudging, and tests seem to indicate that it is slightly darker than other ink options, but it doesn't provide significantly better performance relative to the price (which, for reference, could get you a large container of Speedball Super Black Ink where I live). Deleter #4 is a very good ink, but depending on where you live, it may not be the best value for your money.

I love Deleter products.
While one might expect inks to always perform at their task, this is not always the case. I have been disappointed with Winsor Newton ink in it's opacity and some inks other European inks are simply not worth using. However, Deleter makes a wide range of inks, all of excellent quality, just make sure when you purchase their products that you understand the numbers indicate different attributes.

Amazing, 10 out of 10!
This ink is awesome! it glides on like butter, and one dip of a pen keeps going and going. Excellent waterproofing makes it great for watercolor etc.

No. 4 - Very black, resists most copics well. Dilute!
My review is a very niche use: I use this - Deleter Black 4 - in an ackerman pen, which is a specially-designed fountain pen made to use dip nibs and handle drawing and dip inks. It must be said that you should NOT under any circumstance use this in a normal fountain pen! This is for dip pens, brushes, and other devices specifically designed for dip inks! That said, it's a a VERY thick ink, so you MUST dilute it for use in an ackerman if you don't want to get one of the larger feeds. And it requires watching, as it dries on the nib rather quick. I use about 1 part water to two parts ink for the Tachikawa Manga G, other nibs may vary. Keeping water and paper towels nearby for cleaning your pen is also essential, but thankfully it does easily clean if a clog occurs. For other uses I imagine you'd dillute it to the consistency required by your project and chosen pen nib. For the paper I use - neenah exact index 110lb - once dry it resists most copics pretty well as long as you are not scrubbing at it, although a few cause a slight haze. This might be more of an issue on slicker papers where more of the ink sits on top of the surface, or if you do heavy blending for marker-painting. But for drawings where you will be just cel shading and drawing with copics, it works well. For drying, it's relatively quick when applied thinly (like you would with a pen), but in large amounts it can take quite a while, and goes matte before it's fully touch-safe. You cannot visibly tell if the ink is wet or not, you have to simply wait longer than you think. Additionally, it has a tendency to seep through paper really easily if you spill drops of it, so heavier applications of it with a brush might require special consideration.

Thick, dark, waterproof and PERFECT for what I need!
This is easily one of my favorite inks. It's thick yet buttery smooth, and it dries nice and dark. Once dry, you can erase the pencil drawing underneath with no fading and it holds up to watercolors and markers without smudging (I used Pro Markers, which are alcohol based). The only problem I have is that the bottle is plastic and a bit on the dinky side, and at 30ml (just over 1oz) you don't exactly get a generous amount. Also, while this is an excellent ink for brushes and nib pens, I STRONGLY advise against using this in a fountain pen or refillable brush pen. This is a very thick ink, the kind best suited for dipping tools. All in all, this is a very good ink and I highly recommend it for traditional colored work.

Great for markers but its not as liquid as the others. I like it, it does its job and does it great

Nice and thick black, but still flows like a dream.

Best for beginning not as good if you need it for watercolors or markers. Deleter is expensive but worth the price. It has great opacity and Its easy to use.
