No idea. We don't need any additional support.

Q: Could use it to block a normal width door?

The one I have is at least twice as big as any standard door, I have the four panel.

Q: Will it stand stable if u put it in a nearly level line?

No, this one needs to have ' bends' in it or it will fall over- that is unless you had something on either side propping it io that is heavy- I have small dogs and used several of these then got the one that has a door and feet and is it a bit more stable; otherwise these had been fabulous little fences for two 5 pound pups. Hope this helps

Q: Is this water resistant?

I would not think so. We use ours inside. Don't think it's made to be outside where it would be in the rain. Sheltered and kept dry is my best recommendation It's probably made of particle board and painted. Depending how you plan to use, we eventually bought a couple "feet" to keep it upright where the floor "robot" had a tendency to tip one section. Those feet have "rubber" type material where they meet the floor and hold the fence in place.
