At first, I loved these grip extensions. Then, one day, while I was at the local range(Palmetto State Armory), one of the magazines dropped on the floor accidentally. And I thought, "Eh, it's fine, it's hard plastic, I'm sure it can take the abuse of ONE drop."I was wrong.The end where the metal "E" looking clip that you slide in to "lock" the extension grip into place, it CRACKED on BOTH ends. So with little effort, you can just slide the extension grip off WITH the metal retaining bracket still in its groove. When I discovered this a day or so later, I was surprised. Then I remembered, "I got a 3D printer", so I made my own extension grips that reflected the working ORIGINAL locking design from Springfield Armory on their original magazine bottoms.If I were this company I would redesign the locking style like the OEM mag style of Springfield Armory's mag end. Because if ONE DROP can destroy the whole product then that's a terrible design with this metal locking tab thingy. Sorry.
