The kickstand that came with my ebike was stamped steel and plastic. It didn't take too long for it to start sagging, causing the bike to lean perilously when I parked it. This kickstand, which is cast aluminum and plastic, is vastly superior to the original one (priced about the same). There's a little trickiness with mounting it to the bike as the top part is so much thicker than the OEM one. But once you get it on there, it does an excellent job and seems to be more durable than the OEM one.

Feels nice and sturdy once installed, but the threads on this kickstand were either cut too shallow or were filled in with powder coating. I had to chase the threads with a M6 tap to get the bolt in. Otherwise it would not start and only wanted to cross thread.Once that was done I could mount it up and it seems pretty sturdy, works good and looks nice.It is a bit on the heavy side though if your cutting weight on you bike, but in that case youd probably forego a kickstand.

Fit on my Jansno X50 with no problem after reading another reviewers solution.It seems sturdy and will certainly outlast the original equipment.

This kickstand is way more heavy duty than most I have seen anywhere!
