A book that will help programmers of any level understand debugging
This book was a real find for me. It is structured so that each section flows naturally into each other, starting with basic debugging skills and moving on to advanced concepts such as profiling and distributed tracing. Examples and practical exercises help you immediately apply knowledge in real work. I especially liked the chapter on pair programming - I had no idea how useful it could be. Thanks to this book, my confidence in debugging and solving production problems has increased significantly. Highly recommend!

Recommend for beginner or intermediate go users
As someone who has only used go for side projects, I found this book very helpful for learning what it would take to use in production at work.I would recommend it for beginner or intermediate go users

Great junior devs right through to seniors
The topics and depth in which they’re covered are a great grounding for junior to mid engineers looking to add senior dev skills to their toolbelt. They’re also widely applicable skills, so although this book is specific to Go, the concepts hold across all languages. As a senior dev still dipping my toe into the world of Go this book was great to get a broad overview of how all of these techniques I’m used to using with other languages carry across to Go.
