Individually wrapped
These all come individually wrapped in two plastic bags so if you're looking for the ones in boxes these aren't it.I would have rathered these to come in boxes as they're harder to store in bags. I also don't understand the need for every straw to be wrapped unless you're in the hospitality industry I guess.Either way, one less star for the reasons above. For usage they're fine, they're paper and work just fine no issues on that front at all.

A Better Alternative to Plastic Straws than Metal
I've always liked paper straws, they're a simple classic design that reminds me of those 1950s Soda Joints in old movies. I can imagine them being served in a frothy milkshake.I like the stripes too, I ordered the black version, I did look for red ones, but they don't seem to make those. Maybe it's an oversight or maybe it's difficult to produce a vibrant red on paper straws.I'm surprised at the finish, I thought the black would be moted and somewhat grey, but it's not, the black colour is strong and the surface of the straw has a slight shine to it, I'm sure this helps to stop them from getting soggy in use! They're 20cm/10" long. They feel quite premium, especially since they're individually wrapped in paper sleeves. I try not to buy wasteful products that can't be repaired, so I'm happy to have these which are made entirely of paper, especially since straws are not essential.I think they should be supplied in a paper bag or envelope rather than the plastic bag they are supplied in, it seems silly to go to so much trouble making them out of paper only to supply them in plastic. A matching striped paper bag would work perfectly. Now I'm wondering what kind of fantastical machine makes these, it's impressive the things you can make out of paper with the right ingenuity. I might try making things from them, I'm sure crafters will find many uses for them...At only five pence per straw, they're an affordable 'luxury' without the guilt of waste, I love them!

Biofuture Biodegradable Paper Straws 200
The 200 paper straws all came individually wrapped in a thin paper, though they were all bundled together in plastic wrapping, which is slightly counterproductive in being "100% Eco-Friendly". The straws and wrapper are of course all compostable, but the outer plastic is obviously not. Though soft plastic are being recycled more and more these days, it means the product is not fully environmentally friendly. The straws are decent quality, they do not affect the taste of drinks. They do get wet/soggy after a while, which is an issue with the majority of paper straws in my experience. The straws are wrapped much like what you'd find in a fastfood place. The wrapping makes them more hygenic, expecially for things like a party enviroment, on a picnic or even keeping a few on your person for late use.Overall I'd recommend them, though the price may turn you off (£9.99 at time of review, 5 pence per straw).

Robust biodegradable paper straws
The straws are individually wrapped in paper so are hygenic and good for parties or larger gatherings. For personal use, we have metal/reuseable straws but we are having a party in the summer so wanted something for this. I love that they are biodegradable but the best thing is they are very durable and these don’t go soggy before you have had chance to finish your drink, in fact my ‘tester’ straw withstood a number of drinks over a few hours before I noticed it loosing some shape. Great quality product, good value for money and eco friendly!

Great value
Good quality paper straws. I use them for blowing paints and stains over wood, but obviously, equally good for drinking through! And no plastics going into landfill. Great value.

Biodegradable, robust, individually wrapped paper straws
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘Biofuture Biodegradable Paper Straws – Premium 100% Eco-Friendly Disposable Straws’ Green, for everyday use.The straws are individually wrapped, the wrap and straws are compostable. The length of the straws are good for travel mugs and tall glasses. The straws that I received were 3mm short of the 20cms size shown in the seller's images. They don’t go soggy in hot or cold drinks and I was impressed with how robust they are. They have no taste or taint to them either and the dye stays intact and doesn’t fade when the straws are wet. They are a bit pricey, £9.99 at the time of this review, but they are not damaging the environment and have a feel good factor for that reason. The outer wrapping is also reassuringly hygienic in a party setting or to take out on picnics etc. 4 stars.

Perfect straws and biodegradable so good for the environment.
These straws are the perfect way to enjoy your drink of choice and last a fair bit before starting to become soggy and droopy and these are the black version and look and feel really good quality and each straw comes in it's own wrapping paper so keeps each straw fresh and clean,This pack comes in 2 x 100 plastic packs so you get 200 straws in all which should last a fair while and are completely environmentally friendly and biodegradable so that is a big plus and the straws have a slight shine to them on the outside and the black colour is very deep ad really stands out,Great and handy straws highly recommended.
