Red Boat Fish Sauce, 8.45 Fluid Ounce

The only things that kept my comrades and me going in our days in Vietnam were the entertainment, beer, and the amazing food of the region. This sauce contains no added MSG, but it adds an amazing umami tone to any food that it's added to. It's just anchovies and sea salt according to the label. It's the best fish sauce I have ever seen outside of sidewalk cafes in Saigon. Just buy it, and use it sparingly. You will not regret it.

Great for Lao and Thai cooking that depends on a good fish sauce for flavor. Also great in a lot of other cooking and many you wouldn't think of adding fish sauce, but it brings in a lot of umami without the fish flavor. Try it in stocks, chili, vinaigrette, roast, pasta sauce, steak/chicken/pork/lamb sauces, bloody mary's, and where ever your imagination takes you.

Love using fish sauce in a variety of recipes ever since I heard chef Stephanie izard say she always adds a few drops to her stews and sauses early on in the process to add depth. This brand has always been solid and I love the convenience of ordering from Amazon.

Eine echt leckere Fischsoße! Ist voll in meiner Küche integriert. Salz brauche ich nicht mehr! Ich dosiere allerdings auch sehr vorsichtig!
