Q: Approximately how many treats are in the bag. i have a stubborn 3 month old puppy. her mouth is tiny. are they very soft?

I never counted the # of treats per bag, but they are of varying sizes--from about 2" to about 3.5 or 4". The strips are thin and very soft, so you can tear off the size you want to give your dog. I have a 5 lb. papillon who has no trouble eating these.

Yes, the Gibson's Toasted Turkey does not have Chicken. You can also try our other treats Wild Meadow Farms Classic Jerky. They are all single source proteins.

Q: How many calories per treat? My dog is on a diet and have to watch the calories

The jerky is in strips like human jerky, so I break off small pieces to reward my dog. No two pieces are the same. The packaging doesn’t state portion size or calories.
