Q: Does this eat the finish off of porcelain?

I did not try iron porcelain but it did not eat the painted finish I used it on. Not a bleach but a chemical reaction with the iron.

Q: Will this product eat the rubber in the toilet tank?

I have no issues with the rubber fittings in my tank I suppose it all depends on how old the rubber fittings in your tank are
