It's a well-made and sturdy safe. I specifically wanted a mechanical one with combination and key, rather than electronic - too many horror stories about circuits failing, external battery packs getting lost etc etc. There are a number of different models with combination and key, I wanted one with 4 bolts and this one has that. It's not light, so please make sure you have some help to get it set up - I can imagine a thief having a hard time trying to move it, even if it wasn't bolted down. Opening up takes a read of the well-written manual and a bit of practise. I mastered it in about 10 minutes. It holds a lot and has a few handy options for keys and a movable shelf (you need to swing the door wide open, so make sure you do that before placing the safe close to a wall). Note that the keys are inside the safe and you should make it a priority to get them out before trying all the options! Also remember to keep the combination safe and secure! This is a great place to start a new safety and security plan for your household

This is a good safe but was delivered by one person. It is very heavy and the lady delivering it pushed it off the truck and let it drop about four foot. It is heavily dented but too heavy for me to bother sending back. Contacted the manufacturer because the dial was hard to turn, possibly because of the delivery, but they never replied.

The moveable shelf is very helpful as is the compartment inside the door. Seems well made and the combination lock works well.

It’s a beast, and no electronics to go wrong, perfect!

Delivered but after half a dozen attempts to open it, it would not open reliably and required pushing the handle, which gave a number of unpleasant sound plastic clicking noises and was extremely difficult to lock or unlock - the mechanism itself was partially jammed or wasnt aligned to the right combination. Phoned the manufacturer who instructed me to dissassemble the rear front of the safe (it was clearly a very common problem!) revealing it was indeed entirely a plastic locking assembly..! Utter unreliable piece of junk, on top of which was the apparent moisture problems (I was planning on storing my camera in there, as per their photos!) Trying to return it can be a nightmare also - as you need the original packing material, and I doubt even batman could get this safe out without ripping apart the packaging materials totally! Just Avoid!!!!

I bought this safe to put my important documents and cash. I got use to opening it after a few attempts. it's a great and solid product. It features a double locking system. If you use the key to lock the handle you must remember to use it again to unlock.

This safe is just what we needed! It's strong, roomy, easy to operate and we are so glad we went with the manual dial instead of the electronic--we don't have to worry about replacing batteries or the electronics not working since....there aren't any! It's just a basic manual dial safe. It has a very solid feel and locks up tight! When turning the dial, though, you want to remember to just hold the lever up a bit and you will see how easy it turns by doing that. It's a roomy safe and has two inserts-one a tray and the other a bin, to use for keeping items separated. We like that you can easily adjust both the tray and bin to fit your needs. The combination is preset at the factory and is shown on the back cover of the manual. Make sure to make a note of it some place safe where you can easily find it. The manual also shows the serial number for you so that's good to have in case any issues come up. We drilled into, and through, the floor so did not need the concrete bolts. Actually, we used a couple of 7/16" bolts we had and also the matching nuts and cinched them up nice and snug. Make sure when you drill that you drill from the outside of the safe, not inside. The Bosch drill bits went through the metal easily. We then righted the safe and used a brush to clean out the debris. Some of the debris is sharp so watch for it. The door closes nice and snug however the drilling compromises the waterproof feature but it's well off the main floor so that was not an issue but it is something you want to keep in mind when deciding whether or not to anchor the safe. We read the directions before doing anything and they are very clear and easy to follow. All in all, a great safe and we are very happy with it!! A further note: The bottom of the same is very smooth and we were able to slide it along to it's permanent location!! (We are seniors so paid the fee to have it delivered inside our home. It weighs 125 lbs. so it was well worth it to have the delivery men bring it inside)

I like the safe, looks sturdy but was dented when received Safe was returned on the 3rd of December 2022. But till now no refund has been received.
