This not only exceeded expectations but is a very intelligent, thorough, succinct book for something it's length, for all the aspects needed for a solid base framework to start MERN. Even more surprising, it has so few typo errors and information that works without sending you off to resolve on Stack Overflow or such. It's a quick and thorough read/run-thru through of MERN basic fundamentals that truly builds from scratch in every step of the way.

All essential steps to install, configure, etc are provided aptly. Some readers need just that much to get started; most books ramble on endlessly. Plus going to Stackoverflow for the above will take tedious and prudent googling. One request. Kindly give one or two lines of explanations for some of the steps. findById.select(-password) was not easy to find in the net but I presume it means omit the password field. Worth buying.

I not like the product, people from Amazon talking and asking personal information this is really worse, not expect this from Amazon

I was really enjoying the experience of this book, but became hung on the initial installation of Facebook's "create-react-app". Facebook has deprecated this code in it's entirety, and, so far, I haven't been able to get a clean install. Hoping the author will provide a work around! Or should I just send the book back and hope for something better to come along
