I am not a pro. and just needed the hardware to practice some gliding shots. This product is more than enough for me. The built quality is great and it is more than I expected at this price point. The top plate has both front/backward and left/right adjustment via a couple of thumbscrews. I am using this with a Interchangeable lens camera which is pretty light weighted so I am not using any weights that are supplied. The balancing is pretty simple and the camera movements are very pleasing. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a pretty decent system at an attractive price!

Tried to DIY one of these a few years ago and could never get it right. Doing wedding work, this thing is a must! Although this is my first stabilizer of this kind, I can say that it works exactly like I'd expect. Everything just works correctly. I only have 1 complaint, and its not really a complaint at all. After 4-5 minutes of flying this thing, it gets pretty heavy on the forearm. I was a little surprised at the cost of shipping ($35)!!! However, it came in under 5 days. Sweet!

heavy with all the weights but as for me, all I need is one white weight in one of them. I have the Nikon d3200 18mm-55mm. so if you have that, all you need is one white weight. and also the right balance on the head piece where your camera is going to be. then you are good to go!

This is actually my very first Camera Gimbal Stabilizer and I have to say that I am already falling in love with it. This stabilizer works great! The process of setting up and balancing the camera on the stabilizer was really fast and easy. It took me only about 15 minutes to figure out the optimum set up for my DSLR camera. Adding on to that, the shipment of the product was really fast. I ordered my FlyCam on Thursday and it arrived on the following Monday. What more can I say... Overall, I am really happy with the product and the service. Thumbs up! :)

Is this the best glidecam? No. Does it work? After a long balancing process...fair to pretty good. I'm using it with a 7D and Tokina 11-16 and it seems to handle the weight most of the time. I will say that it's not the best material but not the worst. Bringing the weights up is a little tough because the pole sticks so tiny adjustments are difficult. There are no micro adjusters for the top plate so be prepared to get sore thumbs from tightening and untightening while adjusting. If you have the budget, get something better like an actual Glidecam or the Laing. If this is what you can afford, it will get you by for awhile but be prepared to work for steady footage.

Cheap construction, very wobbly which hurts in a steadicam. I ended up sealing a lot of the joints so that it would work better. Great if you want to learn for cheap, but I would suggest going for the Flycam Redking if you're serious about getting better shots.

It works amazingly well, I used it on my first outing right after I bought it, shipping is awesome too, it came to my door in less than 1 week with standard shipping. Doesn't come with a quick release plate but I bought one already. This product is good.. gumble is good,perfectly stabilizes camera shots and movies very smoothly. Product is made of metal and plastic. I find some joints are not that much good i.e joint of gimble and lower weight system. Other wise everything is good

Good quality product ,but no mobile or gopro holder or a proper user manual guide.
