Oxygen MAPP Torch Kit, Tank Support, Glasses and Flint Spark Lighter(Gas Cylinders Not Included)

Best small kit I’ve used. Used for fitting AC/Refrigeration. Only let me down once on a roof in a storm. Couldn’t get it lit but I’d say most people wouldn’t work in those conditions anyway.

The Threads snapped off the torch tip after one use. Very disappointing as it wasn't a cheap item.

Quite regularly I will need to braze small items, and always struggle getting the workpiece hot enough to get the braze to flow. This piece of kit is amazing and is a must for any workshop that needs portable heat quickly. The canister feed valves are extremely well made, and the control valves of the torch are precise enough to get good flame adjustment without blowout. It uses MAP+ for the fuel gas, with a standard oxygen flask, all readily available online. I wanted MAP+ because I use this for my plumbing torch, but some kits online use the twist-off butane cans which are a bit cheaper. I have docked one star because the instructions are a bit vague for those who have never used mixed oxygen kit, and of course it is too early to say whether the torch head will stand the test of time. So far though, I have been pleasantly surprised at the efficacy of this kit and would definitely recommend.

Good piece of kit

I couldn't use it yet, because I am waiting for the gas bottles. But the delivery was very quick. Now I could use it and is working perfect.

Seems OK, time will tell! Nicely finished.
