Great item. Works perfectly and does both ruin your car. Allows the linked app to read all of the cars data.

This will be the 4th OBD2 scanner I've bought for my car to use through iPhone and hopefully CarPlay. The previous 3 all ended up killing my battery overnight or within a few days due to either just staying on all the time or searching for a connection all the time. I had given up and thought maybe I would just have to remember to unplug it every night and then I found this one. Not only does this product connect immediately and without effort, the speed is extremely fast, the number of PID information is enormous, and it isn't the most expensive either. I paired this with CarScanner PRO ELM app and it is amazing. Perfect layout on the phone and even displays data, live data, on the car screen via CarPlay as well. And that data can be customized too. Lastly, quite possibly the best part, I can leave it plugged in all the time. After 30 minutes or so, you can see the light on it turn off and it no longer searches. The app I use will wake it up when the car is started and immediately connects again without issue. It's unfortunate that it took so many tries to get this to work but I finally found the right combination. Hope this helps!

I leave this plugged into my car full time. It's one of the few that is smart enough to go to sleep and not kill your battery. The Bluetooth connectivity is strong and solid. I have it paired to my Android headunit and it paired in quickly with Car Scanner and Torque. It can read transmission codes on my 8th Gen Civic, which didnt seem to work with the previous two generic scanners I've tried. It works very well, and seems much more compatible and just plain better than the other elm327 clones I've used. Short of a dedicated scan tool, this is likely as good as it gets.

Works great, just remember to buy the license as soon as you plug it in.

Works with all my different vehicles, Jeep with J-scan, Ford with Forscan and Infiniti with Torque. No issues at all.

For the price this is a amazing tool! Learn your car and what things mean! Then go to chat gpt and tell it to explain to you what the car sensor is, what it does, then what range should the sensor be in thats attached to the part.

Dose what I needed it to do and so far no issues with it connecting unlike the last obd2 scanner I had that sometimes wouldn't and would have to unplug it and plug it back in and still sometimes not work. I just wanted it to mostly check codes on my truck or anything of my dad's

See bottom of picture where it says bad clone. This is the Car Scanner Elm324 bluetooth apk free setup. This would not connect with the cars ecu. I have a $5 mini that works fine. Was looking forward to a better unit but this ain't it.

I was able to fix some of errors in my car , it helps identifying errors also guide you how to fix it , at least no mechanic ir garag shop can cheat you anymore

Fonctionne très bien, il entre en veille pour ne pas vider la batterie à l'arrêt. Très important pour l'hiver. J'avais un modèle bon marché qui fonctionnait de façon limitée et celui-là livre satisfaction. Ça ne vaut pas la peine de sauver quelques dollars pour se faire frauder.
