Excellent resource!
This book is organized very well. The indexes at the back of the book are well-categorized and extremely helpful. I use this in my classroom with my students, and my own two children have applied for many scholarships they found in this book. Highly recommend!!

Helpful if you have time to spend
I had the 2024 edition and then bought the 2025 version. I like the concept of this book, but it's a painstaking process going through it to find what your student might qualify for. It's a good option if you have the time and patience. Plan to invest a few hours paging through it. In hindsight, I would prefer something electronic. Keep in mind that while it lists lots of scholarships, it doesn't cover everything. Don't rely on this alone.

Just Buy It
I feel like this book is one of the world's best kept secrets hiding in plain stinkin sight. How is any student walking into college not told about this book?

Outstanding resource for anyone who'd like FREE financial aid!
I teach Economics and Personal Finance to seniors in a Houston area school district, the 3rd largest in the state. Every year I purchase this book and I inform my students that inside is a seemingly infinite treasure trove of scholarships and grants (mostly the former) for them to pursue. This book is an invaluable asset! There are so many scholarships in this book, and not only for typical colleges or universities. There are ones for trade schools, like welding or other such academic programs. This benefits those students who may instead be eyeing doing something like that instead of the traditional college route.Over the last several years I have had numerous students successfully find many different types of scholarships they never knew existed. There are many in this book of varying dollar amounts, too. One of my students got several different scholarship awards in the amount of $500 to $1000 each. Added up, she received almost $5000 in multiple, small scholarship awards. I emphasize this because I don't want students or parents to think this book is for typical scholarships that are partial or full tuition and amounting to the tens of thousands of dollars. Yes, those types are in the book, but so are THOUSANDS of smaller, even itty bitty ones. (There's a reason this book is some 3 inches thick!)

The best book you can buy on the market for scholarships
If you have a senior buy it over the summer before the senior year get different color highlighters that one color stands for they definitely need apply, another color for possibly could apply and when dark color is maybe if we have time we should go for this one fourth call it could be this might fit a scholarship for a friend to pass along. And have another color to highlight the due date and make you a little cheat code go through the book read it especially the very beginning pick one day a week to sit down and look for scholarships.
