Review: Fantastic - I liked this book Review: Funny, delightful, enjoyable but a slow read - It has been a long time since I have got to call a “romcom” novel — ‘beautiful’. Center’s The Romcommers is heartfelt and funny even if a little slow at times. I especially loved the characters — Emma and Charlie — their characters arcs have been drawn very well. So have the arcs of the side characters. It is a delightful read and subtly teaches you a lot about human relationships. Like all rom-coma, the book doesn’t miss on being “cheesy” and too sugary (especially towards the end) — but it is a small flaw. I also appreciate “the clean romance” that the book was committed to serve — it has been a while since we have had a romcom like this in this century.
