I had someone suggest that I try these barrier rings since they were less expensive than my usual brand and the person said that they worked well for her. Perhaps it's just me, but I ordered them and tried one yesterday. Normally, I can keep my bag on for 4-5 days or more, but I woke up to intense itching and discovered that I had leakage under the barrier ring.I do not wamt to discourage anyone from ordering less expensive rings to save money, but these just didn't work for me.

The DERAYMI 10-Pack Moldable Ostomy Barrier Rings is a double sided taped barrier ring. Each of them come individually packaged in a plastic case with sticker paper on either side. The product is very sticky and highly moldable. You place it over the stoma on your skin, remove the other side of the tape and place the bag. Generally the barrier ring of the bag is slightly larger than the stoma, so you will end up with exposed sticky rings.Lately, I have switched over to stoma paste since the rings stick too hard to my skin and is tough to remove. Each person's skin is different and hence you need to try different products suitable for your skin and leakage protection.
