Have been searching for something like these for a long time. Have lost count of the number of Xmas lights I have had to throw away just because the wire has broken iwo the sealed plastic transfomer plug which are impossible to access. The latest was an expensive reindeer feature which was destined for the bin before a last look around for replacement plugs yielded these. Simple two wire connection with a bit of electrical tape and good as new.

I've been looking for long time for a quick, easy and robust way of connecting and disconnecting 12 volt accessories from power supplies. The small solder type plugs were too small and fiddly. All the screw terminal plugs I could find were too bulky .Purely by chance when searching for something else, I stumbled across these connectors. They are ideal. Easy to wire and a nice balance between size and robustness. If one wants to use them as permanent connector a coat of liquid insulation tape or a bit of Sugru mouldable rubber does the job.

No complaints; one female was too loose to make a connection unless held, which was disappointing, but the rest were fairly good quality for the price.

Used 2 male connectors to wire up IR lights, and one light didnt work which was a surprise, as they were simply wired in parallel. Annoying as installed inside a panel in the ceiling space, which was ladder access only. I assumed a broken wire, but after replacing both connectors, I tested the one that wasnt working and the -ve (outer connector) was open circuit, and not connected to either screw connecter, can only assume a manufacturing defect. Test these before use for internal connectivity.Update: The seller did offer a full refund, which I refused, as the purchase did complete the project, even with the faulty item, and I was planning to have spare connectors - so all good. Added one star for the refund offer.
