Great value for the money!
I have the entire Dayton Classic 5 speaker surround system. Big Fan of them.

Definitely worth a listen
They were well packaged with no damage. I hooked them up to a Sony ES receiver and played them for about 4 1/2 hours. The longer I played them the better they sounded. For the money so far I am well pleased. I bought them for a gift for someone who has never had anything nice for audio. I'm sure they will love them.

Good value for the money
I have been building a little system for my record player. I have had many high end speakers over the years, Cerwins, Infinity, Polk etc. But, Im building this system on a budget…and honestly was thinking I wouldn’t get much for $200 a pair, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and sound. The bass response is definitely fighting above it’s weight, in other words they thump pretty good for 6”. Do they sound as good as my VS80 Cerwins on my main system? No…but those were 2 bills a piece 30 years ago. I coupled them with 2 CV bookshelf speakers, and it sounds great when I’m spinning vinyl and even better on bluetooth . I have a graphic equalizer on the way and that will allow me to dial the system in completely. I don’t think you can beat these speakers for the money. They came in a big box with plenty of protection. I used banana clips on the speaker wires, super easy to hook/unhook. Overall, are they audiophile worty? …of course not, but I am super happy with the value for the money

Very nice!
I didn't feel compelled to write a review on these right away. First impression was "Gee these are pretty good for the money." I took another reviewers advice and waited until they were broken in before I commented on them. These are on a simple 2 channel set up, powered by an Onkyo 8020 receiver. These speakers seem a little power hungry but the 50 wpc seems to be plenty of power. I played these speakers for about 40 hours over the course of 5 days using a clean fm station. The results are remarkable. These things really opened up. They really are amazing for the price. I wanted something affordable for my man cave and these are way way above my expectations. streaming off my wiim mini sounds amazingly good.

A bargain for the sound produced. 5 stars for value.
I paired these with Rockville 10 inch sub for an old school, 2 channel boomer and I am blown away at the sound for the price. If you drive these real hard they distort but, not before most people would be at an uncomfortable listening level. I have them about 12 ft apart, 2ft or more from the wall, sub in the middle. This setup sounds better at 75% volume than my friend's much more sophisticated speakers. These look good and don't take up much space. Once these have been out longer there will be crossover and driver upgrades to make them even better.

Work & sound well. Balance is not too sturdy.
Use for stereo system.Looking for a AM & FM radio receiver. Currently have a SONY stereo receiver with a damaged power (on/off) switch. Because unable to turn off I just lower and raise volume every night & morning as it is used in office environment. Give me some options that has plug in receptacles for speaker wires. Give me some inexpensive options.

Solid value. Let them break in and you will love them.
Dayton always delivers at best bang for the buck. Have 4 sets of their bookshelves (some for surrounds) and have been very happy with them. Bought these for a revamp of my second TV sound setup and first thought after setting them up was UH,OH these don't sound as good as I thought they would be. After about 30 hours or so of listening driven through my S.M.SL. SA300 (Great mini Amp! you can see I am a value hunter) they sound much much better. Remembering these cost only $100 each. These also have the range that they will easily adapt to what EQ settings you have to tailor to your taste. 5 stars for value/performance. You don't have to spend audiophile money for really good sound.PS: Sound even better after about 40 hours of break in. Bass really opened up. WOW!
