I’ve used the Chips 3.0 on two ski trips (a total of two weeks on the slopes), and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. Battery life is incredible — I only charged it once over the entire period. That alone is impressive, especially for a Bluetooth device used in cold conditions. The sound quality is excellent, with a solid, punchy bass that cuts through wind and background noise. Whether you're carving down a groomer or sitting on a chairlift, the audio holds up beautifully. Controls are simple and intuitive, even with gloves on — exactly what I was looking for. Skipping tracks, adjusting volume, and pausing music all work seamlessly. It also performs well for calls. I was able to take a few quick calls on the lift and during breaks, and while the mic quality is decent, you might struggle to be heard clearly when skiing fast or on steeper terrain — understandable given the conditions. Overall, this is a fantastic product and one I’d highly recommend to any skier or snowboarder looking to upgrade their helmet audio. Reliable, great sound, and built for real use on the mountain.

An amazing product, far exceeded my expectations. Battery lasted 5 days of skiing with moderate use and came home on 60%. Buttons are easy to use and sound quality is great. Would 100% recommend. (I paid about £60 on black friday) excellent value for money at that price.

Just used these for a weeks skiing. Great sound quality. Super trying battery life. The buttons take a bit of getting used to however it’s easy to use and setup. Overall highly recommended

Finally a nice set of speakers that can handle base. Im 4staring as there is a cracking noise in one ear but it can be ignored when its playing. Otherwise all good. I fully charged when received last month after reading about battery performance and have had them blasting away now a bunch of times and it still has high power. They fit snug inside the earpieces on my helmet and touch controls easy to learn and responsive with iphone.

Sound quality is absolute trash - I can’t quite believe the price of these for what you get. Do yourself a favour and pick up a set of KOSS KSC35 that are half the size / half the price with significantly better sound quality - they will also fit inside your ear guards without pressing against the side of your ears being nearly half the thickness

Worked really well under smith helmet

It is pretty good. Sound lacks of bass range (5/10). Max volume 8/10. Battery 10/10. Bluetooth connection stability 10/10. Ergonomics 7/10, lrngth of the cable connecting chips 8/10 - long enough but there no noticable excess of it at yhe bsck of the helmet. Generally very pleased with it. I use it to communicate with CARV 2.

Werkte goed Geluid kwaliteit kan wel wat beter maar voor op de piste was het prima. Bediening is simpel en werkt goed ook met handschoenen aan. Heb 5 dagen wintersport gebruikt zonder te hoeven laden.

Does what it's supposed to do. Sound quality is fine, certainly good enough for skiing. Open ear design means you can still hear the slopes and other people. Tap controls work but I'm always forgetting how many taps on which ear do which thing. Battery lasts all day on the slopes. Fits well in helmet ear covers after removing some of the removable padding. Very happy overall.
