I love this large lap desk - it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been working from home more often, and my couch is by far the most comfortable spot. I needed something more supportive than a standard lap desk - something that would raise my laptop off my lap, work with different sitting positions (from upright to full-on slouch), and support my arms. This checked every box.The memory foam is super comfortable, and the wide design gives me plenty of space. I can type without shoulder strain, and the arm support has made long sessions much easier. I bought this for as an after surgery item. I’m so glad I did! It was an easy way to eat off of or work on. It’s very sturdy but soft and you can fold the arms down for height.

I actually have mixed feelings about this product. It is a great product idea and it's actually perfect in it's function; it's stiff enough to hold the weight of your arms, items like your notebook, remotes, phone and stuff. But after a few days as it expands from the shrink packaging, you realize it's pretty big. The problem from that is how do you store it or put it away when you have company? I believe some reviewer mentioned it also. So keep that in mind when you buy this. Are you okay having that on your couch consuming one whole seat spot even when you are not using it, next to your couch pillows pushed to the side of the couch, etc. It doesn't make your place aesthetically pleasing since there's no great way to put it away. But if you care more on function and don't care about the storage part, it's perfect for a single person or someone like that.Also, the coaster thing is useless if you move a lot on the couch and or get up a lot. Just play it safe and put your drink on a table instead.

I did not know how badly I needed this until my 30-something year old body gleefully started discovering the pain of *sitting on the couch*. I searched for lap desk pillow and low and behold this one appeared and I have not gone back. I will never be the same. I can sit and boop around on my laptop for HOURS until the dogs holler at me for being a couch potato. No back or neck pain anymore! It's worth every penny. I bought this particular one because it had the accompanying cup holder block (which I love) and because the sides fold out for when I sit crisscross-applesauce on the couch. As a bonus, this also keeps my velcro dog from getting drool all over my keyboard so it's a high-functioning work from home tool. Absolutely 5/5 stars.

The zipper wasoff the track when it can't then broke immediately after touching it. The whole thing works well and it's comfortable besides that. I got it for a couch gaming desk, the only similar product i found was 5 times the cost and this does the job great besides that. Easy recommendation if they didn't skimp on the one spot holding it together, the rest of it is actually quite nice.Plan on just throwing zipper ties on it, would probably buy again just due to the lack of options. With a better zipper, it would be an easy 5 stars, realistically.The extra arm with drink pouch looked pretty stupid but after having it here, I like having it. Not the best at holding things upright but separately makes for a great movable armrest on the couch

My daughter has been on her lap-top A LOT this summer, so much so that her neck was starting to hurt a lot. She knew the problem was the angle because she was using her computer while sitting on the sofa, but the pillows she tried to stack up were wobbly and the laptop kept sliding off. This cushioned lap desk was the perfect solution: it has enough texture to keep the laptop from sliding, it is extremely stable, and it allows her to move her legs around as she pleases. The surface area is large enough that she can put the laptop, her phone, and her mouse on it without it being crowded, and her shoulders and arms can be comfortable either propped on the arms or dropped down at her sides. The whole thing takes up as much space as one of the wooden or metal ones would, but the legs of the wood and metal ones we have tried tend to slip down into the gaps between the cushions causing the whole thing to tilt, or the slick surfaces are too slippery. This lap desk stay stable and has enough grip to keep the things on it from sliding. It came with a separate cushion with two cupholders molded into it, which has been extremely useful to her as well, though it doesn't attach to the lap desk. The material is a neutral grey that works with our colors, the fabric is very soft, almost velvety. The cover can be unzipped and removed for washing, though we haven't washed it yet. No more neck ache, my kid is comfy during her gaming sessions and her supplies no longer go tipping and falling and sliding away! This works for us in a way the traditional lap desk with legs or the small ones would not.

I was super excited to have this portable lap desk to be able to work from my bed or sofa. When I got the package, the foam was vacuum sealed, which okay, no problem it should smooth out. But it never did. A little over a month later (and unable to return it) it never did. Then the inserts that make the sides were deformed and it took me several attempts to get them in the right way. It still has never looked like the photos. When I finally was able to use it my laptop weighed it down and was not able to withstand the weight and the sides began to bow out. If you will only need this to write or do crossword puzzles, then it may be right for you. Other than that hard pass….
