Fills a Need Perfectly
This book really fills a need - if what you need is 100s of pretty darn good diagrams and form instructions for exercises and variations. Extremely helpful if you are a professional trainer trying to keep things fresh for your clients or if you're a home workout person looking to change things up.Can you really master a complicated exercise like the Turkish get up from a few drawings and bullet points in a book? Not really, but think of this as a big suggestion/reminder book. If you are into fitness you'll find yourself saying "I'd like to try that!" and "Hey, I forgot about this one!" over and over. And if you need detailed info on form and common faults for a complicated exercise there are plenty of sources these days, not least YouTube.

A must-have addition for every exercise enthusiast's bookshelf
As a physical therapist, strength coach, and aging athlete...I love the variety and creativity that Mad Skills has brought to my workouts. The layout is easy to understand and covers everything from barbell lifts to great mobility drills. In addition, the Encyclopedia demonstrates exercise activities popular from all around the world including Indian Clubs, Russian Kettlebells, Yoga, and Eastern European Gymnastics. If you find yourself getting bored with the same old workouts, or need help programming your next group fitness class...this is the book for you! A must have resource on every exercise enthusiast's bookshelf.

Literal picture book of exercises
An excellent repository for exercise. That being said, that's really all it is. The books are organized into "bodyweight", "yoga" and the like- but after that, they are really just slapped in there. No guidance into what muscle groups they target, where they can fit into a workout, nothing. If you want a book that's only use is a picture book with three sentence explanations per, you've come to the right place.

One of a kind book
WOW. Not sure how to even describe the wide range of exercises this book has. Ben has created a literal exercise encyclopedia that covers every type of implement and variation. As remote coaches we recommend this book to all of our athletes. This book is one of a kind and belongs in everyone's library. Trust me, man, I am a scientist. :)
