Great quality, great value!!
Got this for a broken finger. I cannot say enough good things about this product!! It supports the entire finger bone to help the break heal. I live on a farm and have used this while doing many chores like: picking wet strawberries, tilling, planting, raking, mowing, and typical household chores. No matter what I'm doing, this brace keeps my hand cool, the metal has conformed over time to make it curve over the tiller/mower for a comfortable, yet supportive fit, and when it get completely soaked, it dries in an hour! I've got a daughter who has worn braces many times and I've never seen a brace that dries this fast. I HIGHLY recommend this brand of device!!*Side note, their customer service is very receptive and prompt if you need to contact them for any reason. Wonderful company!

Great for a strained finger
Strained the ring finger on my right hand a year ago (my dog, a cat, and the leash held between my middle and ring finger - OUCH). Wearing this splint gives me relief from the pain by stabilizing my finger and keeping it from uncomfortable positions or being accidentally pulled. I don't wear it all the time, but when I need to it really helps. The best thing is the finger splint can be be bent forward or backward - so I can rest my finger in a closed position or stretch it in an extended position. Velcro straps are comfortable and adjusts to fit both left and right hands of any size.I will have to have the finger looked at by my doctor, but in the meantime, this splint makes my life so much more pain free.

Good quality
Love it it works great. I don’t use the hole product. I only use the finger. The rest is to uncomfortable to wear all day. Or even sleep with it.. so i give it a 4Good quality!

Not very sturdy.
This is not what I thought it would be. I was looking for something more sturdy for arthritis flare. This brace is not as sturdy. It does not fit like I wanted it to. This may be a great brace but it was not what I was looking for after I received it.

Not Helpful For Trigger Finger
I made this purchase after developing trigger finger in my right middle finger. After trying hand therapy for almost 3 months, to no avail, my therapist recommended that I try wearing something overnight to eliminate my need to ball my hand into a fist. After taking this to one of my therapy sessions, we placed the finger splint to an approximate 45° angle as that is the least amount of pressure on the ligament. It seemed fine and definitely stopped me from placing my hand into a fist as I slept however it did nothing to make things any better. After recently seeing a hand surgeon for my ongoing issue, I was informed that therapy does not work on trigger fingers, which in my case, seems valid. Understanding the body better, after asking many questions about tendons and ligaments, I better understand that this is one issue that cannot be walked back, and one that you may just have to receive Western medicine (steroid and/or surgery) in order to get any better.Regardless of my hand issues, this unit is very well-made, and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone with different hand issues.

For Trigger Finger There are Better and Less Expensive Options
I am only speaking to the trigger finger folks out there as that is what I have. I purchased three brands: This one, 2) Vorcool, and 3) Dr. Frederick's Trigger Finger Split. This one, Arrow, comes with nice packaging but with incomplete and confusing instructions written on the box. I had to go on line and watch a video to figure out how to use it. That's irritating to me. With trigger finger, your sleeping hours are the critical time, and I don't imagine the Arrow splint would be comfortable for all night. Dr. Fredericks's is fantastic for that purpose. It stays on. It is comfortable. It is easy to slip on and off during the day if I am having pain. Forget the Vorcool: comes missing a strap and has no instructions. Cheap.

Worked for ME...I HOPE It Will for You, too...!!!
I've worn this now for about 4 week, on and off....for different lengths of time, and found it very helpful in reducing the pain I was experiencing from my case of "trigger finger". It was an "almost" perfect fit for my middle finger that was locking up at the knuckle on me throughout the day, and now, this issue seems to have "gone away" for most of the time, to the point I only wear it when I feel some sensitivity in my middle finger. It did take a few tries to get it to fit exactly the way I wanted it, for comfort and effectiveness, but once I had it on, whether for a few minutes, hours or over-night while sleeping, it WORKED for ME...!!! A hint: to get this "perfect fit", set the velco at the TIP of the finger to the tightest fit it could be, BEFORE inserting your finger....then I "shoved" the middle finger in as far as it would go...then the velco band AT the knuckle was also as tight as possible, but still comfortable....and so on for the hand area, and the upper wrist wrap was just to keep it in place and not flapping around. Again, this product worked for me, but I cannot guarantee the same for everyone else....GOOD LUCK...!!!

Doesn't work with small hands
I have a finger that slants slightly to the right and locks due to arthritis. That can be a problem when you are on a keyboard and adding machine most the day. So I purchased this hoping it would at least stabilize my finger while working so it would not be able to bend and lock. It is way too big. I had to fold over the wrist part to even keep the finger part somewhat level with my finger, but even then it was too long and kept pushing up and off. Perhaps the makers could consider different sizes for different size hands, just like gloves. This was more suited to a man with large hands. I gave it away to someone who might better adjust it for their use.
