I would highly recommend the DJI Mini 4K, it's considered an exceptional entry-level drone, delivering professional-quality 4K video capture and a stable flight experience in a regulation-friendly sub-250g package. Users appreciate its value and long-range transmission system but note key compromises such as the complete absence of obstacle avoidance sensors, which demands careful piloting. Despite minor camera performance issues in challenging lighting, its robust basic feature set and ease of use make it a highly recommended choice for a first drone.

Great drone. Amazing for beginners. No complaints after a month of use. Definitely recommend. Pictures turned out great. Video is very good. I do wish I could shoot 4k 60 fps instead of the capped 30 fps, but it is not a big tradeoff, especially with the price you will pay for something like the mini 3 or something higher up the line. The drone is very stable especially during calm days, however if theres some wind, it can be hard to take super smooth video, although very possible within 10-15 mph. This drone also has a few entry level features that are cool like panorama options and other quick shots. I do recommend getting at least the 2 battery combo (what I got) since it is not as expensive as the fly more combo (at that point just get a mini 3), but you still get about 40 mins combined battery life (don’t trust DJI’s 31 min/ battery claim) as well as a carry case with is actually pretty nice quality. Good drone, good value, loads of fun.

Easy to setup and fly with a quick app download and connection. Very user friendly! Controlling the drone was easy. Good video quality and was just as easy to land. Seem sturdy, but that being said, I haven’t cried into anything yet. Lol

The DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo is an outstanding drone, especially considering how affordable it is for what you get. The 4K UHD camera produces sharp, stable footage thanks to the 3-axis gimbal, and the video quality easily rivals drones that cost significantly more. The Fly More Combo is where this really shines—three batteries delivering up to 93 minutes of total flight time is huge, and the 10km video transmission is rock solid. Features like Auto Return and QuickShots make it easy to fly and capture great footage even if you’re not an experienced pilot. The fact that it stays under 249g is another big win. The only real downside is the lack of collision detection. You definitely need to stay alert and fly smart, especially around trees or obstacles. That said, given the price point, it’s an understandable tradeoff. Overall, this drone is an absolute steal for what it offers. Fantastic performance, great battery life, excellent camera quality—just be mindful of your surroundings while flying. Easily a 5-star product for value and capability.

This is my first entry into drone ownership. Its easy to fly and very stable even in a moderate breeze. In hindsight I might have gone with one with object avoidance so that I could use a follow me mode. Still a nice experience so far. My biggest issue, and why I'm not giving five stars, is that unit that I bought came wrapped in cellophane like it was new but I'm not sure that it was. The lightning cable was already installed in the controller and was jammed in pinching the cable. I'm not sure why it would come preinstalled. I'm also not sure if it works since I primarily use USB-C but will be testing it with my lightning port iPad in the near future. The spare screws were also absent from the packaging. I guess I'll have to buy some spare screws as my only option when trying to get support was to return it. It's not worth the hassle to package it back up and drop it off to get a return and then reorder it. This may also just be a quality control issue in packaging.

4th month review update - Since I purchased my DJI mini 4K, I have launched it over 200 times (about 15 minute of flight time each). I have to say I am very happy with it. I spent most of my time practicing bank turns and avoiding obstacles in my backyard that has a few trees and a swing set. The mini 4K is well built and flies extremely well. I did have some mishaps and replaced about 12 propellers and a lens glass so far. Initial Review - A great beginner drone at a reasonable price. Unlike other lower price video drones I had, the DJI mini 4K's GPS is accurate even in high winds. Flying it above 10 mph wind may be OK over an open field, but it would be very challenging (if not dangerous) between obstacles, i.e. trees and buildings. The 3-axies gimble worked perfectly. The captured video is very stable while flying. The 4K image is a must have for anyone interested in experimenting with video drones.

O drone é bem legal, lindo e fácil de pilotar. Acompanha hub de carregamento, aeronave, controle, cabos de conexão, palhetas extras... é homologado e vem lacrado. Não acompanha fonte de carregamento e após entrar em contato com o suporte da DJI Brasil, eles explicaram que segundo uma resolução brasileira, a fonte não acompanha mais o combo, mas eles te enviam um sem custo adicional quando solicitado. A entrega foi super rápida, tanto do combo quanto do carregador pela dji. Super recomendo.
