A great device to connect your own headphones to aircraft entertainment systems
I bought two of these units for use on a long haul flights, one for myself and one for my gf. They worked brilliantly, allowing us to use our own noise cancelling headphones instead of the poor quality ones provided by the airline. The Bluetooth adaptors are supplied in a neat pouch and come with everything needed to connect to the airline entertainment system plus a usb charging cable.Set up was a breeze with the connection made in seconds on first use. Switch the unit on, set to transmit and put the headphones into pairing mode. The name of the headphones appears on the screen of the adaptor and the connection is made. For subsequent use, the connection is made as soon as headphones and adaptor are switched on.Sound quality is very good. I listened to Talking Heads and AC/DC and could hear a level of detail comparable to when the headphones are connected directly to my phone. Volume was adequate. I watched several TV programmes and films including Gladiator, Napoleon and 32 sounds. Latency was minimal, but just about detectable if I looked for it closely. It was not an issue for normal viewing. The documentary film 32 Sounds provided a good test of performance. The film contains demonstrations of binaural sound effects and these worked perfectly through the Bluetooth adaptor.Battery life is excellent. I used my unit on two consecutive flights totalling around 17 hours with an estimated listening time of 12 - 14 hours. Two bars remained on the battery indicator after this time. I gave both units a brief charge and they were ready for the return journey. These units can be used to stream music from a phone a device with line in. This might be useful in future for music streaming in a hire car. I have not tried this yet so cannot comment on this feature.

A must-have for your long flight.
The instructions for using the device were clear and straightforward, making it easy to grasp how it worked. Once aboard the plane, I was happy to discover how flawlessly the device performed. It proved to be a fantastic little enhancement for my flight experience, transforming what could have been a monotonous journey into something much more enjoyable and comfortable. It truly made a remarkable difference.

Great value product, worked really well
We brought two of these to take on a flight to LA last Wednesday.I chose these BT adapters as they have a detachable cable and most planes will have them hanging from the headphone socket, I was worried that over time it could damage the cable so wanted to be able to replace that if needed. With a full charge they lasted the 10.5 hour flight to LA from London, sound quality was good paired with my Soundcore Space one headphones.Nice little case for them to be kept in, a short charging cable, and a short 3.5mm cable. Easy to setup and get working.

Simple and effective
With only a glance at reviews i bought this 12 hours before a flight, as the review seemed acceptable and Amazon was able to deliver it to me on the same day. These worked well and they were a pleasant surprise.I have since used this on several long haul flights between London and Asia in the last 4 weeks including 4 flights over 13 hours. A full charge would cover an early flight in transmit mode and sound quality is good. There is a slight notable latency issue but it is tolerable. Range is also impressive and it was able to transmit across a cabin and galley as I walked around with my headphones still on and receiving without transmission issues. I paired this with airpod pro 2's and airpod max headphones. One issue that may affect anyone using airplane adapters and headphones directly or bluetooth units, is the way all adapters are designed it seems and so you might end up with the stereo channels the wrong way around. Would love to know if there's a solution!

Great TX/RX bluetooth gizmo
Nice portable transmitter/receiver. I use these with some sleep earphones & it would last most of the night. Easy to charge, with a usb c port, & it will charge whilst you use it too.

Well designed and it actually works
Having had a bad time with two Ugreen Bluetooth transceivers neither of which worked with my Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC headphones I tried these. These are a little more expensive but you get a lot more - there's a screen which helps with knowing what is going on, there are four buttons which make operation more straightforward, they come in a nice zip-up case with a pocket for the wires and a carabiner clip, they have an airline adapter, the unit is protected by a white silicone case and, crucially, they actually work.

If you only require a BT transmitter for use on airplanes there's better options.
If you only require a BT transmitter for use on airplanes there's better options. Some people would say that you must get a Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver as it works both ways and has multiple uses as you can connect it in Bluetooth receiver mode to the input of your sound system, speakers or to your car stereo. Or also use it in Bluetooth transmitter mode, connecting it to the audio output of your TV, PC or laptop, or Airplane entertainment system. However, I only require a BT transmitter for use on airplanes.I had no problem connecting to both Jabra earbuds and Marshall Major IV headphones. I'm no audiophile but I felt there was a bit of latency and the quality wasn't the best.I also didn't like the setup in that you use 3.5mm AUX Adapter, so you have 2 connection points one into the audio out socket and one into the BT transmitter, possibly leading to sound quality degradation and not being compact with lots of dangly bits when on a plane where other passengers want to get in and out of their seats past you is not the best setup.

Good sound volume and quality
Good sound - I've now used it ona flight and the sound quality was fine. I previously used a differnt device and the volume was insufficient. On this device, my earbuds ran out of power before the device did!
