Absolutely worth $79
I am very picky with my audio devices, but here's the review. 5/5 for price to quality, feels premium(enough) definitely more than the price of $79usd. Sound quality is good! Very tune-able with a on board equalizer that can be found in the Nothing App. The Nothing App is perfect, would not change a thing about it. quickly access any settings with the buds you want. Noise cancellation is ok, but good enough for the price. I just feel like its not as "cancelling" as I would want a headphone, but they get the job done. Pass-through is also ok, I would like it to be a bit more clear. But as stated, for $79 they work, and well. Wish they had wireless charging but its not the end of the world. Wore them on a plane ride that was 4 hours, battery was not a problem for me, even with noise cancelling (maybe I had to take them out for like 5-10 minutes at most to charge them up) but that's fine with me. I will say after about 3 hours, they did start feeling just a little uncomfortable. However, that happened to me even when I had Airpods and wore them for the same duration. Naturally I think there are things that can be fixed with these. But for the price, I'm not mad. And would buy them again if I needed to.

The Nothing Ear (a) is the MVP of my (Mac + Windows + Android) office
The Context: My 3-Screen Chaos As a freelancer, my workflow is a weird hybrid: I design and manage tasks on my MacBook, handle heavy lifting or gaming on my Windows PC, and my personal life runs on Android. For the longest time, audio was a headache. I was looking for a single pair of earbuds that could keep up with my pace without interruptions. This is where the Nothing Ear (a) changed the game. The "Glue" of My Ecosystem (Connectivity) What I value most is how ridiculously simple it is to rotate between my three worlds. The "Dual Connection" is the real deal. Real-world scenario: I’m zoned in editing on the Mac, and a call comes in on my phone (Android). The audio switches automatically, I take the call, hang up, and the music jumps right back to the Mac. Zero buttons, zero stress. The jump to Windows: When I switch over to the desktop PC, pairing is instant. Gone are the days of "disconnect here to connect there." They are my sole audio resource now, and they work as if they were native to every system. Battery for Marathon Workdays This is vital: the battery is endless. Being self-employed, I don't work 9-to-5; sometimes it's more like 12-hour shifts. These buds stick with me all day without begging for a charge. I’ve had days where I finish work, go to the gym, and they still have juice. The peace of mind of knowing they won't die on me in the middle of a meeting or a render is priceless. Sometimes I go days before needing to charge the case again. Audio Quality: The Truth About AAC I’m picky about audio, but I’m also practical. I know many people obsess over hi-res codecs (LDAC, etc.), but the reality is that even using the standard AAC codec (which plays nicest with Mac), the sound is excellent. The bass is deep without being muddy, and voices on video calls are crisp. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything; the sound engineering is so good it makes even standard formats shine. Verdict: The Smartest Buy of the Year To be honest, for the price, I doubt there is another pair of earbuds out there that offers a more complete experience. There are options from Sony or Apple that cost double or triple, but none have given me this perfect balance of design, beastly battery life, and such fluid integration between Windows, Mac, and Android. They aren't just "cool" earbuds; they are a serious work tool that won't break the bank.

Great for the price
This is a solid product. Great audio quality, Nothing's app with a less in depth EQ but still plenty of customization options. The feel is nice, the case is solid and looks sleek. They fit better in my ears than most but certainly not the best fit I've felt. The audio quality is unbeatable for the price, there are better earbuds out there but none that look as cool and sound as good. They're a solid entry level earbud and work very well in a daily setting.

THESE ARE NOT NOTHING! They are amazing!
I have to say did have a one in a million customer service experience that was beyond amazing. There was an issue that was resolved and I could not be happier. The quality of sound is amazing, from the clear crisp sound to the deep enhancement bass that brings so much edge to the choice of music you so wish to listen to. What is amazing is the fact you can adjust the quality and feel through the very simple to understand and use App. You will want to download the “Nothing X” app available in the Apple and android store for free. This allows you to maximize productivity within the music realm. I noticed it has amazing battery life outside the case to allow me to use them all day without interruption and that’s a must. Music is the spice of life and to make music sufficient the “Nothing X” is the best music listening earbuds on the market for the very competitive market. I am known to lose things often so being able to go into the app and use the chirp feature it allows me to listen and find where I may have misplaced them. A very great feature! It also comes with different type of earbud inserts if you have smaller or larger ears. They feel great in the ear to maximize sound quality, and keep out the exterior noises. Now these headphones are great for sports activities outside and you don’t always want to have full isolation, so there is a feature that allows strong fluid music flow while still being able to hear around you, keep yourself observing your surroundings in any situation always but it’s great to know you have that option. You can use them to call/ answer with your mobile device such as Android or Apple. There is a little difficulty when it comes to pairing to your devices because you have to make sure the earbuds are in the case and pressing the circle button holding it till it blinks white, pull them out and go to your iPhone Bluetooth settings and find the Nothing X and pair. There is great online help for you if needed and reach out to customer service who will be amazing to hear from! I recommend these to everyone that wants quality for a decent price. Sound is perfect the look is futuristic, and quality is beyond expectations.

Worth it for the price
I’ve been using the Ear (a) daily for music, calls, and commuting, and they’ve been great overall. The bass hits way harder than I expected without drowning out vocals, and everything still sounds clean. Noise cancellation is solid, it automatically adjusts and actually makes a difference when moving from indoors to busy streets. Call quality is noticeably better too; people can hear me clearly even when it’s windy outside. Battery life is a big win, especially with fast charging, I can get hours of use from a quick top-up. Low lag mode is clutch for gaming and watching videos with no annoying delay. Switching between my phone and laptop is seamless and works exactly how it should. The design feels lightweight but premium, and they’re comfortable for long sessions. Overall, these punch way above their price and feel like a legit upgrade from previous Nothing earbuds.

Buy them.
SO glad I bought these. Ultra-cool transparent design, love the yellow color, and exceptional sound, a pleasant surprise at this price point. Not typically a fan of buds with gel tips - don’t like the seal/pressure - but not an issue with these, they’re very comfortable. Best bass of any earbuds I have, without overpowering high or mid; everything is clear with impressive depth.

Good first impression
I just received them, replacing Pixel Buds A - the second generation, which crapped out yesterday. Connection to my 9 Pro XL was even easier than the Pixel buds - just opened the box and the phone recognized the buds immediately, the nothing app opened and set them up in an instant. Great job on that. As far as sound quality - these are for sure louder than what my pixel buds were right before they crapped out. Not much louder, but for sure louder. I'm not an audiophile, I only need these to play music with decent quality while I workout and from my first impression - these will do just fine, especially since I paid only $59 for them. I don't plan on using ANC so I won't comment on that. In conclusion, if these don't crap out in a few months, but manage to last 1.5-2 years, for the price of $59 and my needs - they are perfect. If you're and audiophile and need some super high quality audio - I'm certain these are not for you, they sound alright, but nothing close to my Sony over the ear headphones, and I'm sure there are many earbuds that produce better quality sound, but they surely also cost more than $59. Edit: The app is awesome and the ability to set up what the different pinch sequences do is brilliant ! I can set my volume up and down from my earbuds ? My pixel buds couldn't do that, these are leaps ahead of the pixel buds in terms of customization of function, the pixel buds app seems like something developed by a 3 year old, compared to what the nothing app allows you to do with the earbuds. I liked these so much, that I even bought the cheaper CMF buds for $29 to listen to podcasts and audio books when walking the dog, and despite them feeling cheaper as far as materials - I'd say they are still great ear buds in terms of functionality. If these buds last 1.5-2 years of daily use, I'd be more than happy and will certainly repurchase ( my pixel buds were way more expensive and they crapped out after 1.5 years, and that was my second set that lasted about that long)

Issues with my first pair, but the replacements are great buds for the price.
Edit: The replacements are working fine for now. The fit is pretty nice, since they conform to the shape of the human ear. I still love the sound and the app (the transparency/noise cancelling modes, the dual-connection feature, and the in-ear detection are all features I will shout-out), so the only issues I have are with the case. The hinge can wear down pretty quickly causing it to shift side to side instead of just opening and closing like it should. Also, the buds can be fairly difficult to get back into the case, especially when you are trying to do so while they are in your pocket. The sound is great and the app is pretty good, but my right earbuds stopped charging past 70% not long after I received my item. I'm returning it for a replacement, and will update my review if this doesn't happen again. Lithium batteries can be weird, I get that.
