Zero In Home Flea Spray – 500 ml (Solvent-Free, Clear Water-Based Flea Treatment)

This is a great product - as it is not aerosol - the scent is nice, not at all overpowering like some products and I think it works just as well as other products.This product is waterbased, so won't create any smelly or toxic fumes in the room - ( unlike aerosol cans ) and it has a more "pleasant" smell than some other products I have used in the past.

I bought the spray, and it seemed to work well. Downside is I appear to be very allergic to it, which I wasn’t aware of until I had sprayed a whole room. My dad also had the same reaction. I don’t know how common this allergy is, but check the ingredients, and it would probably be good to use a respirator or face mask if you’re using and unsure.

With COVID19 I’ve had a lot of time to complete some household jobs that have been pending for a while. One of these was cleaning out the kids cages and getting them all de-flea ready to go back to school. It was very straight forward to use and left the kids smelling summer fresh, which was an added bonus as they have started to pong a bit. The handy spray meant that this could be completed without letting them out of the cage as they can get a bit bitey

The fleas seem to have gone nuts this year so I decided to completely blitz the house! I have treated the pets, washed and sprayed the pet bedding, hoovered the whole house and sprayed this stuff EVERYWHERE including the carpets, furniture, cushions, rugs and any crevices around the house. I only have carpets in the living room and on the stairs and landing so one bottle went a long way. I left it a few hours before hoovering again and I hoped that this had solved the problem... no such luck! The next morning, I got out of bed and by the time I had walked down the stairs, I had 5 fleas attached to my ankles! This spray is RUBBISH!! The only thing that seems to have worked is the treatment I used on my pets as they are no longer scratching (but I am instead)!I have now purchased a more expensive household flea spray in the hope that it works!

The product works well in combating fleas in the house but the spray mechanism on the bottle is really cheap. I’ve purchased 4, 2 of which didn’t spray well and dribbled. The other 2 worked but only when held upright constantly, holding at 45 degrees just dribbled. Other similar products on the market do not suffer from this. Really irritating when trying to get into corners, under furniture and doing an entire house!
