I use this glue stick all the time for sewing.It hold many layers of fabric together before sewing.I love this glue, saves time!

It’s good fabrics glue. It holds as long as it needs to hold and peaks away from the paper cleanly.

I got this to temporarily affix a zipper to upholstery fabric for a box cushion I was making. It worked great--very firm hold and I was able to cleanly sew the zipper on. Since then I've used his glue in many different ways--such as to temporarily tack down interfacing, patches, fold over elastic , and interlining. I've tried several different basting glues over the years, but this is the best I've tried--the diameter is small enough to use in small areas (such as zipper tape and FOE), and the glue dries quickly but firmly. And of course it washes out as it should. My only complaint is that it runs out fast, but I suppose a longer glue stick would be unwieldy. Oh, and new glue sticks are super to easy to insert--just push down and voila.

Works well on my EPP and to hold lace in place before sewing

I was hesitant to buy this, after I read a review that said the person couldn't wash the blue glue out of their fabric. But, I'm glad I did buy thus product. To get the glue out do this:Fill a small rub with warmish water and Woolite. Fill another tub with clean water for rinsing. That could be warmish also. Soak your item for a few minutes, then, using a soft bristle toothbrush, wipe the glue away. It will come right out. Gently agitate the item in the clean water, remove, and gently squeeze the water out. Doesn't have to be perfect, because then, using an oversized bath or beach towel, lay the item on the towel and gently roll it up for a few minutes. Dry flat. I used this technique for six inch paper pieced blocks, where I had used the glue in place of pins. It really is temporary.

Second time ordering, because I love this fabric glue pen for doing FPP, but it’s not as pictured. My first one was also this ugly dark muted pink, and I was actually looking forward to the new pen in the bright vibrant colors like pictured (bright pink and white). Got the exact same one again! Boooo! I’ll keep it because it gets the job done—but would have preferred the cheerier one since it’s something I work with daily. Match the item to what is being sold please!!

This glue is indispensable. It makes sewing difficult curves or items with narrow margins so much easier. Love it for zippers. Narrow tube of glue makes application a snap!
