Another great LG OLED
I have been a LG OLED owner for 10 years now. Our first one did have a board failure but it was the 1st Gen and curved. Our 2nd LG OLED was slightly curved and is going strong for over 6 years. I bought this one because of the huge price decrease. When I bought my 2nd OLED in 2019 the 55" was $1600 and the 65" was $2400, this got down to less than $1k and it was a no brainer to buy, even though I didn't really need it. This one is not as bright as the C series (or G series) but all the features are there, I don't need the high refresh rates as I'm not a huge gamer but more of a movie watcher. OLED is the best TV you can get now for picture quality and the blackest blacks. Smart TV features are good and work well (better than an AppleTV) and I'm actually one that likes the magic remote function that works like an air mouse. Inputs and outputs on the back of the TV are well placed and offer just about everything you will need including an optical audio output, which is a must for me.

Hard to believe this is entry level OLED!
This is my first OLED TV and I almost didn't buy it because of all the "entry level" chatter. I watched a few detailed reviews though and they all said the same things, which is that the TV is awesome, but there are others that are extra awesome and a lot of extra money. I am so glad I went with this. For starters, the picture is flat out sick. I cannot believe the difference between this and my other non-OLED 4k TVs. I am going to wind up going broke replacing them. The blacks and darker scenes are so crystal clear and perfect, no ghosting, no scaling, it is just perfect. What really knocked my socks off though were the 2 things that people were lukewarm on, and that is the sound and the remote. I included the pic to show the size of the room. I am standing 10 feet behind the sofa. This is an open floor plan with a bigger space than the picture shows and this TV fills not only the room, but the entire first floor and then some. The AI sound feature absolutely rocks! I swear it is equal to my Sonos Play 5. You can google cast to the TV too which is great. As for the remote, it is awesome. Sometimes the pointer is nice, but if you don't like it just don't activate it. The modes are seamless. Voice activation is great and you can search inside apps, not just outside. It has good weight and feels nice in hand. Total winner. LG Web OS is super fast and easy to customize. The LG Thin Q app is also nice and double as a remote. Setup was simple. I just don't know how anyone could not be happy with this TV.

Amazing Picture and features
Super nice TV. I got this to replace my LCD TCL and I do not regret it. Color saturation and blacks are amazing and super clear. Can't recommend this one enough. And if you use an Apple TV it integrates seamlessly - Magic Remote worked without configuration, and there are new options in the ATV picture setting for Dolby Vision, aspect correction, and a few other things I did not have previously. One feature I love is the screen off function - you can just listen with the screen turned off. Of course you get the whole LG WebOS built-in too.

OLED TV is not worth 3x cost of QLED
I bought the 65-inch version of this LG OLED TV at the exact same time I bought a second 65-inch TV. Both were going into a newly purchased home. The second TV was a TCL QLED TV. Both TVs are excellent. Only difference is in the cost. After much research, wife and I had decided the picture quality on the OLED TV would be far better, so we paid three times more for it vs. the QLED. The former went in the living room, the latter in the bedroom. In hindsight, we wish we had bought two of the TCL QLED TV. It was $800 less than the OLED yet Its picture quality is just as good. No complaints with the LG OLED TV-- other than the fat price tag.

Great value for the price, with all the bells and whistles!
Great packaging. Fantastic picture, even in our sunroom and perfect for our needs. Lots of apps available and the price was great. Received it in just a couple of days.

Love this LG TV!
This TV is fabulous! So much clearer, brighter, and colors are so vibrant. And, actually the sound is pretty good even without a soundbar in use.

Simply gorgeous and amazingly convenient
This TV is special. In fact, every OLED tv that I’ve come across is special in that the black levels are so incredibly inky-black and this LG B4 is no different. The model letter denotes the level of TV (higher the better, generally) and the number is the year, so this would be 2024’s model. I can directly compare this to the C4 and I’ll say the picture quality is slightly less distinct but it’s still amazing. It’s a lot brighter than my B8 that I had for over 5 years, one that didn’t have any burn in but it did have some dead pixels around the outside edge. They updated the software for a long time and still update the apps, which gives me a lot of confidence in this TV’s longevity. Some other TV’s don’t update apps to keep them running smoothly for as long (looking at you Sony) but the OS is amazing. The web browser is outstanding and it blocks a good number of ads that pop up natively. There is so much to love about this TV if you can find it for a good value. What I love: 120 Hz native refresh panel that appears to go to 144 for variable refresh. This is outstanding for gaming Input lag is RIDICULOUSLY low (again, great for gaming) Beautiful picture out of the box, pretty calibrated Lots of options for picture quality, including an AI option to adjust it based on some pictures you like. Cool setup The Operating System (OS). So easy to use, laid out smartly, so many options for entertainment whether it’s LG channels to watch tons of content or use the included web browser for a LOT more options. So many options to adjust the picture. Lots of control and advanced options. The magic remote pointer is so helpful and great to use. Setup was a snap, super easy and I’m getting used to it a lot more than some other brands. Color…this TV has some amazing color and the picture pops. It’s beautiful, simply beautiful and I enjoy watching tv just to see how great it looks. It’s spoiled me when watching in other places, however. 2.1 HDMI ports, all 4 are that new standard and can do 4K at 60Hz. Awesome value Things I’m not sure about: The stand is made of 2 parts and it’s seemingly got some options regarding how it’s set up (but I mounted mine). You used to be able to bring up an app menu while still watching content. Now you have to go to the Home Screen. A minor annoyance. Things I do not like: The new remote doesn’t stand up like the old one. I LOVED that. It took up a lot less space but I get why they did it. They removed the play and pause buttons from the remote and it’s just got the wheel to pause and play. I get why they did it but I preferred a pause/play button. 2 out of the 4 HDMI ports are on the back. This is fine for putting the TV on the stand but it’s an awful design for mounting it on the wall. The C4 does not have this issue as all 4 are on the side. This is a great quality TV, it’s got good sound, seamless wifi, and all of the above. Overall, I think this is an amazing TV and it’s their new “entry level” OLED but it’s nowhere near an entry level TV. It’s absolutely amazing if you like deep blacks, the lack of blooming, saving some electricity (individual pixels turn off to make black, unlike traditional or QLED TV’s), love variable refresh rates, low lag for gaming, and want a beautifully operational OS, this is an excellent choice. The B4 and C4 (and even the B8 for that matter) are gorgeous and I’ll never go back to non-OLED if I can ever avoid it. Highly recommend, 9.5 out of 10.
