Q: Will this work with 3 different 4k hdmi inputs? i want to connect a sky q box, ps4 pro and nvidia shield box. will one of the inputs go through my tv

If your tv has an arc port connect your sound bar to this this will let you only connect 2 4k devices this way if your tv does not have an arc port connect your sound bar by an optical cable then you will be able to connect your 3 4k devices.

Q: Does my tv also need to support Atmos or is the soundbar Atmos support enough?

I got this answer from Sony support: You will be able to get Dolby Atmos sound quality if the TV and soundbar are connected provided that: 1. The TV and soundbar are connected via high quality, high speed HDMI cable (18Gbps) via the HDMI ARC port. 2. The content being played supports Dolby Atmos.

Q: If i want to watch a dolby atmos film via zf9 can i watch connect a hdd to tv or should i buy a new media player.

Your source needs to support Atmos video format and send via a HDMI 2.1 upwards cable. For best effect, switch on enhanced HDMI in soundbar. Amos is amazing on it, but it has to be set-up right and use the right cables.
