Okay for stress or practise
Found these to be fairly okay softballs which are good for gripping / massaging as I work on sketches or problem solving exercises. Nice weight and spring softness, easily bounce off a wall when thrown. Would be good for practise or junior games to prevent injury.

The stitching on one of the balls split after 4 fairly mediocre innings

Great for Pitch Practise
This set of 2 balls comes in a plastic packet. They are practice balls but still have a decent weight to them. I hadn't tried using a bat with them, but for pitching, they are spot on. A nice set at a decent price.

Split after first use
Protector looked and felt good quality, but after an hour of practice swings with my 12 year old son the ball had split at the seam.
