Short but cute!
Bought it as part of an Easter gift for an infant. It’s a fair price for a good book.

LOVE these books
I love this series. The pictures are engaging and my baby loves to feel the different textures. The pages are easy for him to turn. This made the perfect book for his Easter basket.

Not the best of this series, get a different one
We have several of the books in this series, and this is our least favorite by far. All of them are sturdy (crayon wipes off pretty well!), with cute illustrations of the title animal and the little mouse who is searching for his friend. Each page has a statement of "That's not my bunny, its (fur/tail/tongue) is too (something, like crinkly, fuzzy, etc)." They all have six textures -- five two-page spreads with one texture each, plus one on the cover. Usually the textured areas are pretty good sized so that small figures can easily feel them. The main problem with this book is that two out of the six textures are very lame, while for most of the other books in the series, all six are pretty good. The textures in this book are fluffy tail (soft fur), rough paws (sandpaper), woolly tail (grey woolly fur), shiny eyes (matte black with no touching texture and not even shiny), wrinkly nose (a smooth pink, no texture at all, definitely no wrinkles!), and soft ears (shorter fur). In addition to the two pages of "non" texture, three of the remaining ones are just different lengths of fur, not very creative. Our favorites in the series are the dragon, monkey and robot, all of which have better textures than this one. If you have a baby or toddler, you should definitely get some of the books in this series, but I wouldn't suggest this one.

Touchy feely books are great fun. Although it is a bit short. It is over so soon.

As a Grammie to two curious toddlers (2 & 1), I'm always on the lookout for books that are not only adorable but interactive and developmentally appropriate. That's Not My Bunny ticked all those boxes as a sweet addition to our Easter basket this year. This is part of the popular "That's Not My..." series, and it definitely carries that same charm—each page introduces a new bunny with a simple, repetitive sentence structure (“That’s not my bunny, its [ears/tail/paws/etc.] are too [textured description]”) alongside a bold, colorful illustration. The highlight is the touch-and-feel sensory panels. My granddaughters absolutely loves running their little fingers over the soft ears, fuzzy tails, and textured paws. These tactile elements are perfect for building sensory awareness and keeping them engaged. The contrast between textures is obvious and satisfying for small hands exploring the world. The sturdy board pages are another plus. They can turn them themselves without tearing anything, and that gives them such confidence during storytime. The illustrations are bright and simple—ideal for their short attention span—and the repetition helps with language learning. The eldest now says “bunny” every time we bring the book out! One downside: I noticed after a few weeks of daily use, the binding is starting to show wear. While the pages themselves are tough, the spine has begun to loosen slightly, which was disappointing for a book meant to withstand toddlers. For the price, I would have expected slightly stronger construction. Still, it's a charming and developmentally smart little book that encourages interaction, bonding, and early literacy. Whether it’s Easter or just springtime fun, I’d recommend it to any grandparent or parent looking for a durable (ish), sensory-friendly board book. Tip: Pair it with a plush bunny and you’ve got an instant gift set!
