better than i expected from reviews and price- brand new they are much sharper, more comfortable and seem as strong as a 10$ kitchen aid pair if shears now one year old with average to light use….. should i be disappointed in the kitchen aid shears…. probably- i think they brand name- bought at big retail chain. are these worth price if they still sharp and dont break in a year- yes- far better than desk scissors for kitchen/household use…. are they a lifetime or 5 year purchase? i doubt it. would i buy more- yes! and toss all the old rusty 3$ dull scissors in drawers for various purposes around house-YES! label says small family business- ?!? doubt it but possible- packaging says generic china origin

Excellent scissors for the money. Different colors is a bonus. These are sharp and cut great. Go throw out your old scissors that don't cut anymore and get these. You can thank me later.

These are very good scissors, but super sharp. I suggest that folks always use the sheath when storing them. And make sure you press the sheath all the way until you hear it click. It’s easy to remove when you use the scissors. I think these things would cut through just about anything!

We have had these in use for about a month and they seem to remain sharp and have not rusted. They can do some heavy cutting with ease. So far, they seem to be a good value for us.
